No one on a list at their dealer is paying MSRP for a GT4RS.
At least not here in California.

I put my name in the hat a while back not really expecting to ever get an allocation. Turns out I was wrong. I got my call the other day. I suppose the moral of the story is there’s hope for all the folks that don’t think they have a shot.
Submitted my build and got the “track your dream” link a few days later. Have already made minor changes to the build but think I’m good now. Do have to call on the voice control option (a free one). Projected November delivery.
Going to put the Spyder back to its stock form and sell it pretty soon. Have to decide how I’m going to go about that but thinking of giving rennlist a shot then going to an auction site if the forum doesn’t work. Will post a note in an appropriate thread or start a new one when the car and exhaust go up for sale. Exhaust will go up on rennlist for sure.

The problem with trying Rennlist or AutoTrader before going on BAT is that the history of your attempts to sell at a given price will follow you over to BAT. The users there will post data about all of your unsuccessful attempts to sell and it will keep the price down. If you're thinking BAT, go there first. IMHO.

@rooster17 You forgot the $100k question...how much ADM? (or other dealer-pocket-lining circumstances, like married to the owner's daughter, buy 4 cars a year from them, etc)

The problem with trying Rennlist or AutoTrader before going on BAT is that the history of your attempts to sell at a given price will follow you over to BAT. The users there will post data about all of your unsuccessful attempts to sell and it will keep the price down. If you're thinking BAT, go there first. IMHO.

I’m going to pass on answering specifics. I will say I think the way to go if your nobody special is staying away from the large dealers in major cities. YMMV
I was working with another dealer and received a call a few months ago with a sizable ADM. Don’t remember exactly what the ADM was. I also had to trade my car into them and I was responsible for shipping cost both ways. Told them to call me back if the prices came down. I never got a call again.

Congrats on the allocation. My build was originally October build with a late November delivery when it was Shark Blue and when I changed it to PTS I was in "pending date" status for 2 months until last week when my car got moved to a December build with a late Jan. 2023 delivery.
