Hello,

I am currently looking for a GT4RS allocation in dubai, but the dealer mentioned that there are no more allocations and maybe no more for the end of this year 2023 or the beginning of 2024. I wonder if this is true? Will no allocations become available anymore and will production eventually stop?
Seemed a bit weird because the Spyder Rs is also coming out this year. Let me know your thought and hopefully someone can make it a bit more clear for me.

I know in Australia that allocations appear to come in May, for end of year build and November for Allocations for the first half of the following year. My dealership had 5 in first allocation (May 2022) and four in the last (Nov 2022). They do not know how many they will be allocated this May.

Fortunately mine docked on a ship today! Be with me in 3 weeks!

I wanted to order one in september this year if possible, I do not know yet. My dealer says they have a lot of people who have already made their deposit for the car, so its pretty much a waiting list. I really hope that I can order one end this year and then take delivery in 2024.
Praying for it.

Is there a source on this? Would hope there is a MY25 and fingers crossed potentially a MY26 before Euro 7 regs are put in place.

Is the EV going to be a 982/718? Not so sure about that..
That means they only way ICE could move into 2025 is if they use the engines in the new platform.
They are not going to build 982s and 98x platforms at the same time, it would be a sales/marketing headache.

There was a press release recently from Porsche that mentioned some overlap between ICE and non-ICE production for Cayman but no details were shared. Remains to be seen what this actually means.

The 718 EV follow-on will not be an internal 982 chassis designation. The EV will be on the PPE chassis so different chassis designation.

Unsure if they’ll keep 718 nomenclature on the EV, which is just a marketing term similar to Carrera.

The EV and current 718 ICE will be built on different lines.

PAG has already officially announced overlap of current platform, as is, and new EV. Similar to Macan.

Does anyone have a lead on an actual allocation at $50k? I am looking and have only been able to get on a list in 6th place for $50k but haven't moved up at all in 8 months now.
