Has anyone found an alternative to the accordion sunshade? I prefer not to have the Porsche logo and I like the twist and store ones I have in my other cars. Sadly I can't find one for the 718.

70% Ceramic Windshield film... this will always throw you some shade, even while you're driving.

I use this generic one (Econour) for my 981...it twists and folds into a "plate sized circle" for storing:

it’s not the twist and store version but this is the best non-accordion sunshade i’ve found. quality is top notch, the black material on the interior is a nice touch, and it rolls up and fits easily in the frunk/trunk, or behind the passenger seat (if it’s not in the full rearward position). Windshield fit is perfect, too.

CF shift **** and key pouch arrived today. I may try and paint the silver cap to make it look like the 911R shift ****....or just say it ties in the silver interior door pulls.

Same here. 70% all around, including the windshield being installed on the 16th. I like the fishbowl look, and 70% will darken up by 5-10% max. My installer, also my PPF guy suggested 50%/70% Windshield, but I feel the final product would end up being too dark for my tastes - his opinion also goes to the wayside bc hes a fan of the limo look (SMH!)

I would rock a sunshade if I knew the car was going to be sitting outside for an extended period of time (days), but I cant foresee that ever being the case. $250 +/- and you're personally protected while driving, and covered when the car is parked - seems like a no brainier solution.

Although, this would be rather entertaining to walk by

For the key pouch, I bought this instead, more user friendly. Add a small split ring to your key fob, you get endless possibilities.

How do you like the key pouch? I could see where it is an annoyance given that you are actually inserting the key into the ignition. Regardless of how it functions, it looks great!

You slide the key fob out and insert. There is not much to it. I like the fact that it offers some protection and if I accidentally dropped the key fob, it doesn’t get banged up.

I wish Porsche has entry and drive for the Spyder and that we don’t have to insert the key fob.
