What did you buy your 718 today?

Are we talking 20-30% dust reduction? Or like 80%
anyone try these pads on track? Not great solution if these pads need to be swap to oem on track days. Im happy if they serve me 2-4 days on track per year.

Seriously, it would be like (Apples to Oranges) it's that much difference.
I now have over 7,000 miles on my 718 GT4 and the wheels stay clean for a Long-long time !!!

Looks like TR does not show any options for the GTS 4.0.
EDIT: Yes they do!
Thanks for the heads up on the TR sale - just bought a set.

I just received my decals. It took about two weeks, but otherwise no problem.

TR has it wrong.... I cross referenced Porsche OEM part numbers at Pelican and Hawk directly. Below are my findings, hope this helps.
GTS 4.0 Front - Hawk ceramic pad HB905Z.646 - same Porsche part # as a 2020 911 4S (992-698-151-H-OEM)
GTS 4.0 Rear - Hawk ceramic pad HB665Z.577 - same Porsche part # as a 2020 718 S (987-352-939-03-OEM)
GTS 4.0 Front - Hawk ceramic pad HB905Z.646 - same Porsche part # as a 2020 911 4S (992-698-151-H-OEM)
GTS 4.0 Rear - Hawk ceramic pad HB665Z.577 - same Porsche part # as a 2020 718 S (987-352-939-03-OEM)

Akebonos have almost no dust - but they are also dull. I ran those on my S4 for a couple years... I hated them. In cold wet conditions they are brutal until you get some heat into them.
The Hawk ceramic performance pads are awesome pads. I highly recommend them. I ran those on my s2000 - very little dust and very good bite and feedback through the pedal.

I've been emailing with Endless about brake pads for my CGTS (note, different brakes than GT4). I said I want a street pad that is a very strong performer, but less dust that stock. I do not need to use it on the track. If I were to track the car ever, I'd be ok swapping back on the OEM pads. This was his reply:
Alright. In that case as far as the compounds we can recommend, I think we would lean more towards our SSMPLus, which is our option for the least amount of noise and dust when driving on the street. The MX72Plus is a more aggressive street pad that will put out more dust, and possibly make some noise when the pads are cold and you're coming to a slow stop at a light or intersection.
Our standard MX72 which we currently have in stock for the front and rear, offers a slightly lower initial bite than the MX72Plus that's similarly very consistent but still does put out a bit of dust and might make a little bit of noise under certain conditions.
The SSMPlus offers a good initial bite for a street pad, but it was intended to be more comfortable for street use, so it's going to put off less dust and is less likely to make noise when driving on the street. The problem is we haven't been keeping this one in stock, so depending on whether or not our factory has these in stock, ETA could be about 5-6 weeks. I'll check on this one with our factory and let you know a more exact ETA once we hear back most likely tomorrow morning.
We haven't been keeping the MX72PLus for this application either, so ETA could be the same as the SSMPLus or possibly a little sooner.
Pricing for all three options would be
Front MX72PLus - $555
Rear MX72PLus - $420
Front MX72 - $525
Rear MX72 - $370
Front SSMPlus - $480
Rear SSMPlus - $345Erik

Did you ever track them? I am thinking about some low dust options for when i replace my brake pads, however i do want something that feels close to OEM in terms of braking feel and performance. Im starting to track the car and i'd like to modify that variable as little as possible. I realize i should just run OEM but i also hate how much dust they generate after a track day.
So is TireRack the place to go to with regards to the Hawk pads..? They have the best pricing, but their descriptions dont match 100%.
