Gorgeous. Am I the only one who feels like the cheap looking black plastic side scoops really let these cars down? Is there an elegant solution through Porsche exclusive?
The black plastic works just fine for me, and feels perfectly considered in combination with the front splitter and air curtains, and rear diffuser.
I've never been a fan of the painted scoop as it makes the vent look significantly smaller and draws attention to the horizontal bars. But it's all personal taste! The good news is it's an easily removable part that can be painted, wrapped, etc. to individual preference.
I'm getting more pics of the first Spyders with the 000 Package, and hope to post them soon—the interior looks fantastic in pics. Can't wait to see one in person.
You are definitely correct on the side vents….. they need “Paint”.
Currently on certain models of the 718 series an Exclusive Manufactur option can be ordered from the Factory as a non CXX option for around $700. I ordered the Exclusive option. Also ordered the Aluminum Window Trim for a more classic look.
^ Yep, available from the factory for those who would like it—and it's definitely a matter of personal taste. If I wanted to minimize them without CXX, I'd go for Brewster Green.

^ Agree. I can see where someone might want to paint these vents, especially w/some exterior colors, but I actually like a bit of black trim on modern Porsches. I remember a desire to convert my Guards Red 981 GT4 to 981 Spyder vents as I prefer the look of the 981/982's CGT-ish intake that starts at the leading edge of the door when it terminates in a big black scoop. It's one of the best visual features on these cars IMO, but YMMV.

These actual interior door panels are outstanding and they have given us a another idea or two. I have not been a fan of the silver like door pull trim and now I see that Boris and the Team fixed that piece by finishing it in matte black…looks outstanding. The 000 Option Package has now sent me back to the drawing board in terms of the door panel.
I am hoping to see in person a 000 Spyder at the Porsche Parade in June.
Thanks, Dave! The Ascot really is, and has had me looking at my 991's plain black lower dash, door panels, and seats lately. ;-)
The door trim is one of two favorites between Alex and me, as we both like the darker/"alternate" brushed aluminum interior trim because it's a real material. While I loved the anthracite brushed aluminum trim in my GT4, Alex is a big fan of the black brushed aluminum found in certain models. I like it, too, and we both felt it would work well here. As with other elements in the 000 Package, our request pushed Boris's team outside its "usual unusual," as their shop didn't "stock" the black brushed aluminum door spears. But they made it happen, and we're very thankful for that as we thought it would be best to have a transition between the high grain Ascot and smooth black leather upper doors and dash.

Hello P.! The best we've seen so far are in post #201. More cars are arriving, however, and I hear another shoot is coming…
Question... might have already been mentioned above. Is the 000 package still available for the 2023 MY? or was it only a 2022 MY?
Yes still available, I know someone's who was delayed from 2022 to 2023. MSRP increase applies, be ready for your Spyder to be 150k+ if you want all the goodies such as 000, PCCB's, buckets, PDLS+, etc.

^ Correct on both counts. Have some thoughts and updates on the package now that first cars have been delivered, if those here are interested.

The "base" 000 2023 Spyder in GT Silver is roughly $150,000. This includes the mandatory options and 000 package.
If you want PDK, PTS (000 colors), LWBS, PCCBs, then add the appropriate amounts. You could easily get one of these to $180,000 before ADM.

The owner of Porsche Fresno has one (his personal car) sitting in the showroom. MSRP of $181k. At least if you own the dealer you don’t have to pay ADM I guess!

I had my dealer paint the intakes and roof flaps. Much better looking than the black plastic.
