I'd get the Arctic Grey one... my BBS wheels in matte black would look best on it.

Got email from Porsche yesterday that my Albert Blue 000 arrived in Emden port, so maybe 6-8 weeks out for delivery. I got the PCCB's included with the build. The only item deleted from my build spec due to availability was the LED headlights. Delivery will be in Oregon, fwiw.

^ Nice!

This is the first Albert Blue car I know of on the west coast. There's now at least one GT Silver car on the west coast, too…was beginning to think they'd all be Brewster or Slate! Congrats, and can't wait to see pics if you're willing to share some after it arrives. Or, better still, let me know if you're game for lunch should you ever be passing through.

Pete, pics will be posted for sure, thanks. And will let you know next time I'm passing through the Bay Area with the Spyder. Several Porsche friends and i will be spending a couple of days driving down the coast from Oregon headed to Rennsport in September but I'll be taking the 72 S seen below for that trip. Look you up at Rennsport anyway?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/32552123430...Bk9SR66O1dLJYQ

Just saw this listing.... asking MSRP + $20k. Slate Gray, buckets, 1,500 miles, 2021 MY.

I wonder how many allocations for the 000 to be built?? Anyone know the total numbers and the distribution of colors?

Sounds like my twin! Mine is complete as well and waiting transport to Ontario, Canada. I was offered Euro delivery for March 17th but couldn't swing it. I got the PCCB's as well but they dropped my LED's. Carbon buckets were still available as well.

I've said it before right here. I've seen a hundred specs on this site alone that tickle my fancy more than this car. I think the wheels just leave me feeling meh. Certainly not a $175K stunner to me.

I'm really coming around to the 000 Spyder interior with exterior in GT Silver. Three biggest factors are:
  • Not going to be able to get PTS at this point anyway.
  • Extra Carrera GT homage points
  • With the 18-ways, you're practically getting seat shells painted in exterior color for free. Win!
(it also doesn't hurt that I don't think I'm getting an allocation before production ends, and I'm trying to buy one in GT Silver from dealer stock now )

That is the wonderful thing about Porsches...we can all spec to suit ourselves. For me (and at least a few others of us), getting rid of the mouse fur is a huge plus, and replacing it with something special is even better.

I dig the interior. It's the rest of the presentation that leaves me underwhelmed at that price.

Wheels and paint? Or more beyond that?

Just the color of the paint with those wheels... I don't know, I mean the entire work of art as a whole. I look at those images and it is just lacking. The wow factor is nonexistent. And that beautiful interior just highlights how deficient the rest of that package is. In the end just personal preference I guess. Imagine that interior on Brewster Green or Pantone Blue, or even Viola, with something other than those bland silver wheels. Now that's a Spyder I could see spending top dollar for. Of course, YMMV. And of course is still a beautiful car. We just have a pretty high bar around here.

Spyder it self is best looking car made by Porsche so far. Proportions are just perfect. 000 package is stunning, my car is getting leather on the seat shells (instead of silver plastic) couple more leather adds here and there. In terms of wheels , silver color is classic, any other would look not proper . I agree wheels makes the car , for example my 992 gt3 is Carrara white and I paint wheels white, ( Raulth Lauren style) getting a lot of compliments from people, but it’s a loud GT3 with huge wing, 000 is so classy, wheels must stay silver.
car is close to Huston should be on the truck soon!!!

Got this pic of my build in process from the Porsche "Track Your Shipment" site. Fun to get a preview, anyway.
