Official Waiting Room for 718 Spyder / GT4 / GTS Delivery...
Racer
I'm still at EXIT production on 10/12/2023. So, if things stay linear...maybe in 10 days (on 9/16/2023)...I might get lucky and have the same move-up experience.

Same here, my Cayman GTS was scheduled to complete manufacturing on 9/22 (if I remember correctly) and it actually got done on 9/1. Today it reached the German port.

I contacted the shipping company from my paperwork I was given at drop-off in Sindelfingen from European Delivery. I also air tagged my car and saw it was in Emden so once it arrived I emailed. They gave me this information then once it hit port in Houston my air tag should start working better so I'll be able to track it to the dealer.

My CGTS was completed on the 4th, and reached port this morning. The Emden sites shows they expect the Sunshine Ace to arrive on the 13th. Hopefully mine makes it on board.
This was exactly on schedule from what they have me a couple of moths back.

Congrats Manual. The car looks great. I was surprised to see LWBS in a GTS. I placed my order this past February and was very disappointed when they said no LWBS were available for non-GT/Spyder cars. Enjoy them!
My car was also on the Crystal Ray and dropped at Benicia. Still waiting for that call from the dealer. Should be any day now.

Thanks! buckets were the main reason I traded the previous GTS.
I was surprised how quickly the delivery was after Benicia. My SA told me on Tuesday that it was on the truck and it arrived at the dealer on Wed. (WA state). I may have gotten lucky with timing of availability of buckets. I started reading on RL that they were available again and when I was offered an allocation in late April, I verified with my SA that I could get buckets. I was a little nervous that it was going to show up without them.
Hopefully you'll get the call soon.

Congrats Don!! This is fantastic to see and quite encouraging for the rest of us. I had buckets in my 981 GT4 and they were great. My build is just a few weeks after yours so I paid close attention to your posts. The vessel mine is on should be stateside within the next few days. An exciting time for us all - prost!

Ordered mine May 29th and drove it off the showroom floor on Aug. 29th, and it appears many of the cars being built in Osnabruck are getting done ahead of schedule. Like Manual 991 I got the full buckets and I only wanted them so I felt fortunate because though they were shown as orderable on the Porsche Build Configurator they were actually unobtanium for months and months. Chalk CGTS, Carrera wheels painted in Agate Gray Metallic, full buckets and PDK. The PDK was the hardest option to pick as I love manuals, but since I will do Time Trials I gave in to the extra acceleration the slush box provided!

My Gentian Blue CGTS was confirmed 4/21 and has been stuck in San Diego now for 5 weeks, it sits 1.5 hour away from dealership (Rusnak) mine has Carbon Buckets & PDK well …. Like you (*****) I will track my car a good bit so I opted for the PDK .
