Dang, unless my TYD has yet to update, looks like mine is sitting in port for another month. I guess I shouldn't be too upset at missing the first boat considering the wait that some people have had.

 

After months and months of waiting to get on a ship, my Spyder is FINALLY booked to be on Höegh Seoul departing Bremerhaven on 31st of May and ETA currently arriving in Auckland, New Zealand 14th July! Getting closer now!

 

Sunshine Ace is about to dock in Emden. Good luck everyone that's Houston bound!

 

She apparently arrived about 1.5 hours ago. Now the mad scramble begins? There are apparently two more ships heading to Houston from Emden in the next ten days or so.

Looks like I hit the lottery! Made is aboard the Siem Aristotle today on 5/24 bound for Port Davisville on 6/4. Time to go buy a lottery ticket.

 

My GT4 sat at the US Port of Benicia for 6 weeks with 5 other of my dealers cars, no damage or PEC delivery just delayed.

 

Assuming my factory pics are being uploaded?
That or my order was cancelled because they ran out of parts.😂

 

I received the same error this morning. Frustrating for sure but hopefully isolated to a technical issue and not reflective of the status of our orders. Cheers.

 

I have the same error. I was chalking it up to them not knowing where my car is anymore haha, but glad to see I'm not the only one.

 

Update: TYD appears to be working again with no changes to any milestone dates. Cheers.

 

Interesting video here about the kind of ships our cars will be on: If each ship really holds 4,000+ cars, the backlog at Emden might be cleared fairly soon.

Generally how long after the car goes onto the ship does the Porsche track your dream update?

It's random and sometimes it'll update after the ship has already left with your car. I'd say if it hasn't updated in 24 hours after the ship set sail then it's probably still at port.

 

From memory mine happened within 24hrs. I will add that tracking the actual shipping of my car through the TYD app was pointless. TYD app showed my car going through the Suez canal, when it didn't go anywhere near it, ended up coming through Panama canal.

As an FYI, quarantine with Australian ports is a nightmare at the moment. My car should have been in Brisbane 14 days ago. Boat sat off the coast of Port Kembla for a week, gave up waiting, headed north and got to the Gold Coast, then turned around and went south again back to Port Kembla, where it sat for another week waiting to berth.

Thankfully it unloaded yesterday and is now en route to Brisbane, so hopefully have my car within the next 2 weeks!

 

Oh nice. It's been a very long wait for you since it was built.
