They said the reason the picture is missing is because there was an employee that got captured in the picture. That makes sense. Bummer...

I'm guessing/hoping your regrets about not getting some of the pictures will fade away once you receive your cars!

God bless you,

I'm missing the final assembly one which the most important one for me. Are you saying because someone didn't take the photo for our cars properly? So we will never find it, right?

Information from my Sales Advisor in regards to GT4 projected arrival 3 months passed initial quoted timeline.

Original Projected Delivery Date 5/5/2023
Current Projected Delivery Date 7/28/2023

"Germany is having labor issues and strikes. My guess is that they are having issues with getting them loaded on vessels. Completely out of our hands as this is a third party handling loading vehicles. Lets see what happens in the coming weeks as it might change and arrive sooner than the July 28th"

It's a good guess that both your dealer and Porsche would like to get this car into your hands as soon as possible and, of course, receive your payment!

God bless you,
TT

They sure do like personal checks, lol!

It is what it is, just disappointed as it went from arriving just as weather warmed up to only 3 months before winter hits.

Not to mention I already have SOUL over axle pipes, RSNV wing risers, clear side markers, and t9 memory module among other things sitting in my garage waiting.

I hope you will look back on the wait with fondness once you have your car! Or maybe you won't think about the wait at all once you are enjoying your car. The latter is my personal experience.

God bless you,
TT

Just checked and I am on the same boat (pun intended) both literally and figuratively. 😭

Just checked TYD... I have been assigned a VIN!

IIRC... VIN = completed production??? Or does it mean it's started production?

Congratulations! I just noticed that my wife's and my 718 also has a VIN. Today it is on the way to "the German port". Not sure when it got the VIN, though. Can you not tell from the dates on the TYD page what stage your car is in?

God bless you,
TT

Mine says it was completed and supposed to arrive mid may now it’s sitting at the factory and expected date 7/14. Not sure what the hold up is but looks like I’m not going to get much top down time.

I had my VIN before production was completed (or at least before TYD told me that production was completed).

Your Spyder looks really nice. Is that black olive, natoolive or something similar?

Love that color (Nato Olive?). If I had secured and wanted to swallow the $12K PTS slot I would have done the same but with Aurum wheels. You'll have a rare bird there. Congratulations.
