Yeah, meet up would be outstanding. I’m originally from the UK and haven’t met anyone that shares my crazy passion of cars yet 😁
Not 100% sure about the hold up at the port. Unfortunately couldn’t schedule my appointment at PEC any sooner than I did in October, so it could’ve just been sat waiting for that slot. Once I’d tracked it obsessively over the ocean, and knowing that my PEC appointment wasn’t until mid October I sort of forgot about it for a bit, so I stopped agonizing. I have the Bose too. Flying out to Atlanta one week on Monday, and feeling like a kid with all the excitement!

I've heard nothing but exceptional things about the PEC delivery. A buddy just picked up his Turbo GT from there and sent me loads of pics and wouldn't stop gushing about his experience. I would have done it too but in this case just wanted the car as quickly as possible.

Did they stop giving the final production photo on TYD? I got two but didn't get the final build shot, and it seems like most others posting production pics don't have a final photo either.

Well I just got a BIG surprise. Last night my delivery date was showing 70 days out. I just got home and zapped the TDY and it is showing my car will now be at the dealer in 19 days. It was supposed to load in 40 days and now I find it loaded today on the Lake Wanaka. Still no build photos, the search continues. Crazy thing is that the TDY last night showed it sitting in Emden since 9/27 but today's update shows it just got there today and was loaded today. I'll take it!

Yes, assume you won’t get it. I don’t know anyone since the summer shutdown that’s received the final build photo.

Unless it's something they throw in there when the process is complete, I'd say it's probably a foregone conclusion you won't get one.

Dunno what to tell you. It’s either there or it isn’t. The only two most of us have are the side body and the front on shot. No one has posted a finished shot since mid-summer. Mines now 35 days since completion and no new photos were ever added beyond the two given. Not ideal but it is what it is.
