I tend to think the date is wrong and that your car is on it's way.

That was my first thought, too! I guess the date may be updated later. Their system is really wonky.

Yeah. My TYD still shows Ready for Transport date as 8/26 but it then says it got on Siem Confucius on 8/5. At this point, just use one of the marine trackers to follow the boat and forget TYD.

it will update shortly with an actual date, replacing the “estimate “.

Just received my CGTS 4.0 allocation for December delivery, can't wait!! Build locks next Friday so it must have been a cancelation. Build code is PPRFZKQ8. As you'll see I HATE Race-Tex so the GTS package won’t work for me. Anyone have thoughts on Guards red seatbelts with a Carmine red exterior? Not sure if they will clash. Currently have black but thinking about changing for a bit more color contrast. Any other thoughts / recommendations for the build are welcome.

Posted this on a separate thread but this one seems to have more activity. Thank you in advance. Excited to finally join the P-Car community!!

Red belts, especially in a convertible is such a gaudy look.... I'd pass. Personal, of course.

Carmine Red belts are available with the GTS interior, which is what I have. Seems you should be able to get them. They look great, but I have a Cayman so not so visible. Purely a personal decision on your part.

Thanks for the feedback!! Ordering a Cayman so not quite a gaudy, or maybe just as much…

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately carmine belts are only listed with the GTS package which I’m not going with due to my distaste for race-Tex. That said, I’ll reach out to my SA to see if it’s an unlisted option. Thanks!!

Missed that bit. Somehow I think you can get away with more inside color in a hard top...

Looks great! Yeah, I have a Spyder build, but I can't get out all the Race-Tex (wish that I could). That is the big advantage of the GTS in my opinion. Also, were you hit with ADM? I stuck with $15k ADM.

Thanks. I ended up paying $7.5k ADM. Was on a few lists for a 992 2S at MSRP (all out of market). After waiting 9 months I decided the Cayman GTS was better aligned with what I’m looking for. Likely could’ve paid less ADM if I waited longer or looked out of market but an opportunity presented itself and I decided to move forward. I hate ADM however I plan to keep the car for a long time, as I do with all of my cars (2009 135i with 183k miles is still going strong), so the cost amortizes itself over an extended period of time. At least that’s the rationale that helps me sleep at night…

Yep! I am the original owner of a 99 Boxster, and I still drive it! This is my first car since (no joke), and I plan on driving this Spyder forever (that is how I justify the ADM). For you, a $7.5K ADM is about right in this market. I see dealers still trying to get $10k ADM for GTS cars.

Congrats! My GT4 made it on Lake Wanaka as well.

I don't know when it arrives in Davisville, but I am just excited it got on the ship, and the ship has departed today!

When and how long did it take you to find your allocation?
