My build locks in Sept and my dealer has not gotten any information about PDLS+ being removed. I also have PDLS+ on my Cayenne and they look really frikking good. Can we retrofit the LED lights after delivery? If yes, does anyone have any idea of the cost?

EDIT: nvm, looks like it can be retro-fitted. See below for info:

Wow, sorry for anyone losing their choice for PDLS+ who wanted it! Epecially anyone whose 2022 order was bumped to a 2023. I had some reservations about the nonreplaceable LED lights, but in the end chose PDLS+ for my GT4 build.

Thanks for the link. Yeah, I was thinking about the retro fit later, but that amount of work is way beyond my personal ability (even with such a great overview/instructions). Huge amount of work.

I have a upcoming 2023 Spyder build in a few months, and I just checked. The PDLS+ was removed. Really terrible. Those lights make the car.

Siem Confucius is on the move. Should make a lot of folks here happy. Of course, I’m waiting for San Martin …

I have a 2023 Spyder September build too, and the PDLS+ was removed. I think that your dealer just does not know yet.

Sadly, without major effort and cost, I don't think retrofitting later to PDLS+ makes financial sense. So, the question goes to 1) do you keep the regular lights, or 2) go to the Bi-Xenon™ Headlights in Black with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS)? And neither of these options look good compared to the PDLS+. Really, really disappointed.... I could have lost so many other options, but this one seriously hurts (from a design and look perspective).

My October delivery GTS is still showing PDLS+ in TYD. Build lock date has been pushed back a number of times and is currently late August.

That's really interesting. This situation is so strange. But, Porsche is dropping a lot of us out of PDLS+, so something is happening. Major bummer....

I agree that either xenon options just dont look as aggressive as the LED option, but will have to tolerate the smoked PDLS Xenons I suppose, since there is no way I'm cancelling my order.

Super cool of Porsche to increase the base cost, while not having some major options available like PCCB and LED w/PLDS+

That was kind of on my mind as well. I feel like the increase in cost was poor decision on their part considering all the stop sales we've been seeing. They won't do anything since people are going to buy these cars regardless and of course there are people like me who didn't even spec either option.

But yeah there's a small part of it which just doesn't feel good.

I honestly don't know if I would move forward without PCCBs. I was very happy to see that I made it in under the wire with those.

That's fair. I'm thinking long and hard about PDLS+ not being available. I'm struggling with potentially not getting an option I really want. I'll see what happens, but I'm not liking where this is going with all these alleged supply chain disruptions.

Just checked TYD and my September build GT4 no longer has PDLS+. Price listed for the build is unchanged. Man that is a huge bummer.
