That's a great looking car, enjoy it! Are your wheels silver? My GT4 is going to be Guards Red with Silver wheels. I'm on the fence about changing the side markers when I get mine. On my Seal Gray Boxster S I changed the side markers and they blend right into the paint, which definitely looked better with Seal Gray. I look forward to seeing some pictures with the new side markers.

No, these are the platinum wheels. And I'm glad there are some more GR cars coming down the line! I love how it matches the calipers and all the deviated bits on the interior.

First (very dark) baby pic

So, I got my first baby pic this morning, two days after I got an email from Porsche telling me my car had been produced. Per TYD, she was supposed to complete production 6/10 and the email came 6/13. So far so good. Only three days slip. But at the same time my baby pic arrived (6/15), TYD updated all my dates saying CP8 would not be until JULY 8, and delivery slipped from 7/22 to 8/5.

Thoughts? Just TYD being TYD? Some new part back order? Failed inspection?

For context, build is 6MT CGTS4.0, 18-way, PTS, black/Luxor interior with CF trim, Bose, nav.

It took me over a month to go from start of production to CP8.0.

Well, I still don't have TYD. It worked fine for the last 5 months...build date was to start on 6/10 and TYD went to "Service Unavailable - Please try again later.." about 2 weeks ago. So at this point I have no idea if my BGTS has even been started. Now, this morning, the BGTS is no longer showing as one of my vehicles. Only my current Cayenne shows up. Hopefully that just means they are trying to fix it and not that my order was cancelled.

I'm in the same boat. When I hit my Scheduled for production milestone on 6/3 i got the "Service Unavailable " for 3 hours then it came back up. Delivery date had moved one week. On 6/10 " Production Start Milestone" nothing happened. Then today my CGTS is no longer showing up in TYD. I also hope it's just updating the dates to show production has started.

@GrandPaJohn @Mecheng244 Hmmm. Sounds like we are all on a similar time line and experiencing something similar. I can still bring up TYD on my computer, but on my phone my vehicle has also disappeared. Also supposed to start production 6/3 and finish 6/10. Fwiw, at least part of my car has definitely been produced because I have a photo of part of the painted shell, no engine, in my PTS color. My speculation is either that they have run into an unexpected shortage or that the shipping schedule is causing a delay. As compared to both of you, I am grateful that that I know it is in production even if it may not have finished. I would be tearing my hair out if I had two weeks of umbrella man.

Finally able to exit the 'waiting room' as of this past Monday the 13th! This car is even better than I anticipated and is an absolute delight to drive. I feel very fortunate to have gotten it. After receiving the allocation in September of last year for a spring build i knew the wait would be hard but it was undoubtedly worth it. I really enjoy how the color Chalk seems to change depending on lighting and time of the day.
