@Adrift I see that Ukraine has sunk “The Moskva”. What valuable thing did you have on that warship?

That led to Rasputin's assumption you were acting as if information from an SA or a SM was gospel, in a time when we are all very aware just how little those folks know (based on their inability to tell us what was going on with the production and delivery of cars on order). You apparently have more significant contacts than that, which is fine, but wasn't how you led in. You are new on the board, so haven't built a rep yet for having quality insider info; that will just take time to establish. It's the internet; surely you agree with everyone having a healthy dose of cynicism as their starting position.

Okay, Porsche folk group hug!

Keep the shiny side up
Not to mention the long term point of this thread is to make everyone else feel warm and fuzzy about getting their vehicles faster than Adrift and me.

But seriously, we here value 'inside information' from sources willing to give us at least a (generalized) reference to someone in PCNA or PAG with such knowledge about future plans. Dealerships are, by their nature, a problematic source of information about the future, as our threads are repleat with examples of employees of dealerships misleading prospective clients -- especially about their likelihood of obtaining an upcomong allocation for a specific vehicle type.

It is further understood that careers can be risked by sharing propriatary information of internal on-going plans that might be shared among certain PCNA leaders and 'leaked' to outsiders. Thus, statements made here about future plans are viewed cautiously. Certainly statements affirming specific future plans that are not yet known to auto trade journalists in Germany, whose job it is to break news on the latest latest known OEM plans, are naturally going to be received with a strong level of doubt as to their veracity.

It might be said that anyone who chooses to make a statement made about future PAG production plans should (1) weigh the value of providing the information which they wish to share, (2) consider their willingness or ability to reference a viable source (or general reference to the source's role) for the information, and (3) consider the impact they may have on enthusiasts who are waiting to complete a purchase on a vehicle they are not certain they will receive.

I suspect TXShaggy would like us to remain on-topic, so I will close with stating that I will soon be departing the "waiting room" and I promise to properly photo-document the big day and share initial impressions with all of you --- while I will continue to hold out hope that all those who wish to acquire one of these beautiful vehicles is able to do so.

Is he the one that is 0 for 2 ordering cars? Maybe I got the names mixed up, too.

My run of bad luck is in my rear view mirror, my friend! I just hope everyone else can get clear of their barriers, as well.

I almost can't believe it's real!
Usually takes about a week for the production pictures to show up in TYD after you’ve seen the updated milestone.

I had ordered some VA-111 torpedoes. Was going to load them onto my GT4 James Bond-style.

Siem Confucius arrived at Port in Emden overnight. Fingers crossed my car makes it on, as it's been stilling at Emden for 3 weeks now. My destination port is Baltimore, so I'm hopeful I can still take delivery of my car in early May. Who else has their car sitting in Emden, Baltimore bound?

My car is currently sitting in Emden as well. TYD shows today as the "on vessel" date and 5/20 delivery. I am thinking a good chance I will be on the Confucius headed for Jacksonville if it all goes well .

Sure thing - I meant to do that yesterday, but was too excited.

Pictures aren't showing up on TYD yet - I am hoping those are there soon!

2022 718 Spyder, Carrara White Metallic, black roof, black leather with yellow stitching, platinum wheels, yellow seat belts, PDK, heated seats, 18 ways, Bose, Apple carplay, carbon fiber interior trim, LED lights, and power folding mirrors if I remember correctly.

They are entering a new production order immediately and will expedite with the expectation most in the blue group will want new cars. He's reaching out to his rep to find out exactly what the damage is on mine.

Now 0/2 in ordering Porsches.
Heard back from my SA. He still doesn't know exactly what was damaged on my car, but he's being told it will take three MONTHS to repair. A new car will only take four months, so it doesn't make sense for me to even entertain taking the damaged one. What sucks even a bit extra is when my wife's Macan got loaded onto the Felicity Ace, we sold her Audi (another dealer made us an offer we couldn't refuse). So now we're down to one vehicle (my truck) between the two of us. I asked my SA to see if there are any press fleet cars they could lend me until my wife's new Macan shows up, but doubt that's likely. Besides, it would probably just get hit by a comet or something.
