You two guys are cracking me up. DelkHenn, I will say the one door you left open with respect to doubting the quality of your information was that you said you got it by "hanging around dealerships too much." That led to Rasputin's assumption you were acting as if information from an SA or a SM was gospel, in a time when we are all very aware just how little those folks know (based on their inability to tell us what was going on with the production and delivery of cars on order). You apparently have more significant contacts than that, which is fine, but wasn't how you led in. You are new on the board, so haven't built a rep yet for having quality insider info; that will just take time to establish. It's the internet; surely you agree with everyone having a healthy dose of cynicism as their starting position.
Okay, Porsche folk group hug!

But seriously, we here value 'inside information' from sources willing to give us at least a (generalized) reference to someone in PCNA or PAG with such knowledge about future plans. Dealerships are, by their nature, a problematic source of information about the future, as our threads are repleat with examples of employees of dealerships misleading prospective clients -- especially about their likelihood of obtaining an upcomong allocation for a specific vehicle type.
It is further understood that careers can be risked by sharing propriatary information of internal on-going plans that might be shared among certain PCNA leaders and 'leaked' to outsiders. Thus, statements made here about future plans are viewed cautiously. Certainly statements affirming specific future plans that are not yet known to auto trade journalists in Germany, whose job it is to break news on the latest latest known OEM plans, are naturally going to be received with a strong level of doubt as to their veracity.
It might be said that anyone who chooses to make a statement made about future PAG production plans should (1) weigh the value of providing the information which they wish to share, (2) consider their willingness or ability to reference a viable source (or general reference to the source's role) for the information, and (3) consider the impact they may have on enthusiasts who are waiting to complete a purchase on a vehicle they are not certain they will receive.
I suspect TXShaggy would like us to remain on-topic, so I will close with stating that I will soon be departing the "waiting room" and I promise to properly photo-document the big day and share initial impressions with all of you --- while I will continue to hold out hope that all those who wish to acquire one of these beautiful vehicles is able to do so.

My run of bad luck is in my rear view mirror, my friend! I just hope everyone else can get clear of their barriers, as well.

Soooooo...my TYD just updated and my car is now showing as "Ready for Transport" - that means it's totally complete right?
I don't see any production pictures anywhere, but it might be too soon for those to be loaded - how long does it usually take to get on a train?
I almost can't believe it's real!

Siem Confucius arrived at Port in Emden overnight. Fingers crossed my car makes it on, as it's been stilling at Emden for 3 weeks now. My destination port is Baltimore, so I'm hopeful I can still take delivery of my car in early May. Who else has their car sitting in Emden, Baltimore bound?

Well, ****: this is comical. Just heard from my SA. After we thought it had escaped any damage aboard the ship, turns out that's not true. I'm told the cars have been sorted into three categories: green (inspected and fine), blue (damaged, but repairable), and red (totalled). Mine is blue. They are entering a new production order immediately and will expedite with the expectation most in the blue group will want new cars. He's reaching out to his rep to find out exactly what the damage is on mine.
Now 0/2 in ordering Porsches.
