Official Waiting Room for 718 Spyder / GT4 / GTS Delivery...

If you want to watch the ships arriving and departing Halifax, you can check out this webcam. It's what I did last year when my GT4 arrived at Halifax Autoport. The entrance to the harbour is in the centre of the frame (of course!), McNab's Island is to the left of centre, and the ships come/go by McNab's Island.

Now that MV Goodwood has left Halifax, for any of you who know for sure that your car was on board, what are your build dates?
Mine are (actuals):
V334 Exit factory: 5/31
V331 Enter Emden: 6/3
O090 Order ready for PAG invoice: 6/3
Expected exit Emden was 6/11 on Goodwood, but I haven't had it confirmed yet.
If one of you has a build date before mine, and have confirmation that your car was on the ship, then that means mine is probably on Canadian soil now, which would be exciting.

This is my first post…I have a CGTS arriving in late July. Mine is GT Silver (what better color for a GTS than GTS?) manual, with the controversial (?) full Bordeaux interior. I’ve wanted a car with red interior for years and loved the Black/Bordeaux, but didn’t want any half measures! I’ve also chosen the Carrera Sport wheels in body color because the slight difference in silver hue bothered me. Car is monochromatic in and out. My previous fun car was a Championship White Integra Type R that I bought new, so maybe I just like the matchy wheel thing! I know it’s not for everyone, but that’s the point with a custom spec, isn’t it?
In the meantime, like many others, I’m collecting a pile of parts. Clear lights, grill covers, battery charger, lift pucks, etc.
Thanks to everyone on the forum, for helping with all the decisions along the way.

On the home stretch to the lock date. I show my wife the difference betweent the couches and the buckets. The first set I show her are the couches. She says..."Ok". Then I show her the buckets and she says, "WOW!" And then I go on to tell her about the "eccentricities" of the buckets(adjustability or lack thereof) and she says, "are you buying a luxury car or a sportscar!???!!!!...and then she adds, "If we want cofort we have a Cayenne. But you're buying a sportscar!!"....dammit. She is high maintenance!!!! Another thing echoing in my head is a wise man once told me...."If you're gonna be a bear, you may as well be a grizzly bear!". Dammit!!!

@flynlo the buckets are gorgeous, there’s no denying that. If you’ve tested them and no the drill, go for it. Shark blue sypder with yellow accents is going to be pretty amazing I think, what wheels and brakes did you choose?
I have tested the buckets and had preconceived notions so I had written them off before I even sat in them. I have until the end of the week to change and my SA said to come up to the dealership for another test. He agrees that they look great.....but also offering up "practicality arguments" against them. We shall see. Thanks for the vote of confidence!....gauges/dials are all yellow as well!!!!!

imo, the issue is not even comfort, LWB are plenty comfortable for me, but ingress/egress is the bigger issue, and if you’re going to try to drive the car regularly or park in tight spots, it’s kind of a hassle since you need to open the door out wider so you can do the egress dance.
If it’s just going to be a car you take to cars and coffee and for spirited drives or track use, then LWBS all the way! If you and your wife have the tolerance to deal with the ingress/egress, then also LWBS. If you plan to daily the car, and have a passenger with you regularly, skip the LWBS

The earliest I have seen posted on here of the BUILD date is 7/15(for 2022 builds and susbequently Shark Blue). I have seen a 2021 build posted on here of 7/14. Not saying that is the "break point" but it might be. Mine is a 7/16 build with a 9/17 delivery. That delivery date has floated around a bit. It was originally 9/10. My SA said there is a good chance it will be earlier since we live in a major port(Houston) and likely not much delay on the transfer from ship to dealership. So to answer your question, Early September unless someone else has a different take on it. And trust me....it is a bit nerve racking ordering a color I have never seen....and then going with the yellow interior trim. But I think it will look awesome!!!
