Thanks Randy! We need to do a drive together once you get your car. Thanks again for your help earlier in the year too! Bert
PS. I quite enjoy the group therapy😂😂😂

I would triple check your options list to make sure it is correct.

Lack of attention to detail like this frequently can lead to error that you only realize when the car shows up.

^^^This is one thing that surprised me about the whole process as I wasn't required to sign off on the build prior to it going V250. I even asked if we need to review the build and the SA said no unless there's something I want to check. Well at that point, I just asked for a print out of the build that he submitted. I was trusting but verifying at the same time because I selected PTS and nowhere does it actually say the paint color or even code so I specifically asked if he had a print out showing the color and color code. Got it with even the script for the personalized door sills so I was good to go.

Thanks for the tip! I agree. Lost my trust. Will do for sure.

New PB for mod arrival date vs car arrival date. Need to figure out how to mount to wall until November. Or might bolt to the old computer. Next up is rear section.

If you would have gone to late July it likely would have been a 2022 year model?? That would have been the one consolation.

I asked my SA about that 2 weeks ago when he
1st sent me the wrong screenshot before I realized his mistake yesterday, and he claimed no. But then he told me the bogus story too…Probably the only advantage of MY2021 is the Porsche entry and drive is omitted on 2022 for the front and rear trunks as far as my options are concerned. Definitely would have preferred a ‘22!

Dealer sales manager called me yesterday to tell me that he checked on my build and it moved from V215 to V260. Phew! Only a ~week late. I'll swing by the dealer tonight to see if I can get an updated printout with the new dates.

Damn....the US models don't have that feature anyway....or at least not to my knowledge. That sure is a nice feature to have!!

Olso B has left the compound!

Great news - my Spyder hit V334 and is on it's way to Emden.

Super happy, hopefully have it before the end of summer. Fingers crossed.

FWIW, My Canadian '18 Boxster with Enter and Drive DID have proximity sensor opening for the front and rear trunk.

Nice! Wait almost over! How do you know which ship it is/will be on? Does your SA have that info?

I just meant they are removing it for MY2022. Not that it was new for ‘21. Must be the chip shortage.

Your SA will have that information. I can't remember exactly when but I believe it was when the car was actually loaded onto the ship or a day or so before it's loaded.

You can use http://marinetraffic.com to track the ship as it sails and then use https://multimedia.panama-canal.com to view live cam footage as it goes through the Panama Canal.

Hey everyone!

New to this thread, and my first custom ordered Porsche. I'm actually coming from a 991.1 GT3, and now moving to a '22 BGTS 4.0 in Shark blue for more of a California backroads car. I just got my V200, with lock at the end of the month.

Here's my build code! Let me know if you guys think there's anything you would recommend switching around.

Thanks!
