For all you boat watchers, for a car supposed to CP8.0 on April 1, going through Emden, what ship should it make, headed to Houston? Any insights appreciated.
Hard to tell because they have been adding stops to remaining ships to make up for Felicity Ace But the Conductor(which is 2 Days late for Davisville now) is scheduled back in Emden april 9-11 then going to Houston For May 3

That sounds consistent with the TYD advertised schedule (says arrive in port May 6).
Got a nice surprise today - my car has been built! Production date got pushed from 18 March to 8 April last week, then this today! It's' supposed to be at Emden Port on Friday!
So what do I make of this? Says sitting at anchor as of 11 minutes ago but also says due to arrive in Zeebrugge on 3-20. Is vesselfinder info routinely delayed?

Long time lurker and first time poster... I've been holding out as best as I could but finally registered to join in the fun and hand-wringing while I wait.
After years of dreaming the pandemic turned "someday maybe" into "now or never", and back in April 2021, I put a deposit down on a 718 Spyder with 8 people ahead of me in line at the dealership. Fast forward to December 2021 and I got my allocation and build slot. The car was originally going to be ready in early May '22, but like everyone has seen the dates have been moving around a bit and currently estimated to arrive in early June '22. Holding my breath this week since TYD says it's scheduled to start production on Friday the 25th and trying to make sense of the rumors regarding factory shutdowns in March... we shall see what the week brings.
Full spec is below but the highlights are 6-Spd, Chalk, Red Top, Classic Interior w/Chalk seatbelts, Satin Aurum wheels, Bucket Seats, PCCB with Black Calipers, PDLS+, and Burmeister. I'm having a heck of a time fully visualizing how all those colors are going to come together on the configurator because they are all just slightly off on my monitor, but the pictures I've seen of similar builds look great. We'll see how it turns out in person but it works in my head. There is another 718 Spyder that is en route to my dealership next month that is Black / Red / Red so I'll try to go see that in person when it comes in. Worst case scenario if the Satin Aurum clashes too much I'll trade them out for black wheels at some point.
So what the heck do we make of the plant shutdown rumor? Nothing? Arg I mean yay! but sheesh…
Its pretty cool having tyd say 2 days until start of production.
Not sure. There is still another week to go before he was told to expect full shutdown. Maybe circumstances have changed. I will text him again today and see if there have been any updates

There is another 718 Spyder that is en route to my dealership next month that is Black / Red / Red so I'll try to go see that in person when it comes in. Worst case scenario if the Satin Aurum clashes too much I'll trade them out for black wheels at some point.
