Official Waiting Room for 718 Spyder / GT4 / GTS Delivery...

Paid another visit to my dealership today. Finished the second round (potentially final) of configuration. Fully loaded on everything that can be loaded onto classic Porsche interior. Deleted the supplemental safety bar paint, and also removed the PEC-ATL delivery due to horror stories about how much additional delays this is adding due to the delivery due to COVID and other logistical complications. Now the real wait begins. January production / end of Feb delivery. I am looking forward to tracking the build process w/ photos in January! Still on the fence regarding the Cxx / interior carbon trim. They're asking $5500. If the aluminum bits bother me that much, I figure I'd just order the parts and have a local body shop install them at a lower cost (not sure if it will be lower or not). Anyhoo, here she is. My dream Porsche (until the GT3 allocation . I appreciate all of your good advice & good taste.
thanks

Not sure about all of the extended colors....but yellow is all I can think of. Unless you want to do speed/shark blue and keep a blue/yellow theme throughout the car. Which Is what I did but the inverse of your car. Blue car with yellow "bits"

My OAP are going on as soon as I take delivery. I may even have the dealer do it. I've heard the car with and without it. Amazing.

I never actually drove the car without the DSC controller, so I can't directly compare it to the factory controller. However, I will say that the high-speed damping on the highway (expansion joints, pavement irregularities, etc.) is superb. I am going to be autocrossing the car heavily, and the adjustability for various surfaces, course designs, and conditions is why it was a must-do mod for me. Since I will also drive the car a fair amount on the street, the fact that it also improves comfort on the street is just icing on the cake. There is a comprehensive thread on this elsewhere if you haven't seen it yet. Just search for "DSC 718 Installation" if you have a couple of hours to spare.

Thank you! Big fan of shark blue as well. Good call on black brakes. I went with SS. Just cant tell a big enough difference in sound clips between the two and that's just another 2k I can spend on something else lol. I can keep you updated on sound clips as soon as it comes in. Should be here within a week of the car. Dealer ETA for GT4 is within a day or 2 of Christmas day.
