Definitely a silver over black wheel guy, however to each their own...But I really like my gold wheels on SB!

While I agree…they may “disappear” but that is just a camera trick. It is called blown highlights. You will get that with anything short of a real camera. But the point here is that in real life with the naked eye, those highlights are not blown and they do not disappear. I went with a cohesive theme on my spec. Black. Blue. And Yellow. Notice even wheel caps are yellow…..as is the stitching and the belts and the dials. The only thing out of theme is that damn silver SPYDER on the “shoulder”. So in keeping with my theme the car looks really damn good. It is a no compromise GT car look. Sliver or gunmetal takes away from the pop of Shark Blue….IMO. Which is fine if that is what you are going for!!! But Silver and platinum do take away some of the pop of Shark Blue…..while black emphasizes it by the sharp contrast. Again, all opinion here and not trying to convince anyone otherwise. Sounds like we are all happy with what we have and that is all that matters!!!

Oh man - more pics!
I can't decide on color choice. I don't think there's a wrong choice but now you've got me second guessing again!

I feel like black was big in the early 2000's and in my mind I associate them with Mopar and American iron. I will say that they do work with Shark Blue as it does provide good contrast but they tend to disappear and you can't see the details as well.
Yeah the problem with black wheels are that they don't photograph well. But in person (especially when clean) they look good. I'm kind of over black wheels too - but I think they work really well with SB and have optioned them. But - I keep second guessing my decision. With silver you can always powder coat them black in a few years if you want a change. Hm.

Correct - the side emblems are way too thin/fragile to remove intact (I tried!) so I bought a par and had them sent to Eric at Bumperplugs.com to paint "Racing" Yellow.

This is so pretty. Can I do those seat centers for the 18-ways?
I am trying to find an interior color scheme for Boxster GTS (GT Silver \or Chalk) + (Blue Top). Trying to get the blue from the roof into the interior.

No. Those are only on the Buckets since the centers come right out.
