Not so fast. There are auto upholstery shops that can do this. I have Sport+ Seats. Just a matter of trusting someone to do such a job. Interestingly, I could do it for about the same price as P1 inserts. Go figure.

True. You can always do anything custom with enough skill or money.

I am in the Houston area and found someone in the San Antonio area that I would trust. Only issue is either shipping the seats or doing without the car for X amount of time. I am sure I could likely find someone to do it in the Houston area. There are literally hundreds of shops to choose from. I just haven’t really done the deep research but I have poked around a bit. Probably the way I would go if I really got motivated about it would be to ask around all of the highly respected Indy Porsche shops and start from there. Maybe even the dealerships. And obviously it doesn't have to be a Porsche shop. I am pretty sure I could find a path. I am probably not the first to want custom upholstery work…..

thinking. Is there a way to take the seats apart to avoid shipping the entire seats?

I don’t think so. I discussed that with the San Antonio people. The only reason that shop got my attention is because they had done it and I saw their work. But I don’t see why any decent auto upholstery shop couldn’t do it. Like I said, you would somewhat be a Guinea Pig and you would have to trust them to do what you are asking. I need to find my notes with the SAT shop as they also had a source for all of the different patterns….similar to P1 Designs.

Sat and stared at my car while having a meeting that didn't require me to sit in front of my screen earlier lol

Smart decision right here, I wholly endorse it. Now, gets me thinking. I'll need a way to get suitable and stable wi-fi at the garage I'm renting to store the 718. I have probably 2-4 meetings a week that I could join without needing a camera on, and the car would provide much better background material than the barren walls in my office.

What do you think about doing the belts in shark blue, but with standard silver stitching? I know it looks great to do both the belts and stitching in blue but I'm hesitant to spend the extra $3k.

I'm a if it's a super loud color on the outside why make it loud in the inside...

I say go silver stitch and then go silver belts, had the silver belts on my Miami blue rs and I LOVED the subtleness but it also looked so cool. On the RS it was actually no cost default to get silver belts, very very cool.

You should do the belts and then add SB door pulls as well. Thought of doing the same on my car but GB and SB are not the best match. Now waiting for Spyder RS release so I can buy Deep Sea Blue belts and door pulls

Can I get more pictures of the dashboard, center console, doors - but from the driver's point of view?
I strongly consider this interior - black leather with blue stitchings and want to make sure it is visible enough (almost $5k option with everything combined)
