He needs to get the "Extended Deviated Stitching Interior Package" which adds almost $2000 to the price, and then he would have lost the door straps. Why? Cause Porsche.
Personally - I would have paid that extra and added the straps myself for like $10, but would also been super angry that I paid $2000 for a few stitching.

It’s pretty wack. Worse is I asked for Shark Blue straps through CXX and they denied them. Even though they’re available on the 4RS for $250 as a standalone option. Because Porsche.

Luckily it is a 30-minute job

Is there even a point asking for it if it is the only CXX in my build?

edit: it is a $200 option in the RS, not even $250

edit2: why does the 911 get SB stitching, and we get race blue? :|

Got it. I forgot yellow was a standard color. At least for my $2k I got a different than standard color. Definitely a harder pill to swallow if all you get is the steering wheel and shift boot.

$2k for a different more unique color is easier for me to stomach

To do CXX you need a minimum $10k spend now vs. last year’s $3k requirement.

But yeah thankfully it’s a quick swap. I was open to paying the up charge through CXX so I’d have it all done and set from the outset vs. having to tinker with the car myself. I’m now waiting for the OEM ones to become available at suncoast. SB straps are still listed as “coming soon.”

$10k in options or $10k in CXX alone?

Why not just do it with $10 straps from Amazon?

$10k in CXX items.

I saw that video too. Gaphix has straps for way less than Suncoast but no SB option. I’d probably go that route vs. doing the cutting, hole punching etc.

Luckily I have plenty of time to really worry about this as my car is slated for late Summer/early Fall delivery…

The GT Steering Wheel in leather (and shifter/boot) are in contrast stitching only with the Extended Deviated Stitching package (ie. not Guards Red, Racing Yellow, or GT Silver).

No, as stated above, you have to pay the $2k for the extended stitching. I have the leather MF wheel too with stitching but I paid the upcharge to get blue stitching.

Had a chance to park next to a Voodoo Blue Turbo. Pretty damn close in color.
