Maybe this observation is buried somewhere in this thread but I've never seen it. I have to think that other Shark Blue owners have noticed this:
A very nice thing about Shark Blue is how well it hides normal road dust on the lower body. Quite a few times I've thought the car was quite clean, but then discovered there was a modest accumulation of dust from the road covering much of the lower body and/or lower bumper. I couldn't tell it was there until I would do a touch up with detailing spray and discover the dark material on the microfiber cloth. Then it also becomes obvious that the newly cleaned spot is brighter/cleaner than the surrounding area.
I'm enjoying not feeling so compelled to wash the car as frequently. This is aided even more by the low-dust PCCBs. More fun time with driving and less time washing!

the most noticeable dirt I get on the car is the bug smashes... bugs really like to kamikazi this color lol
the door handle loops I got afterwards and I put the carbon mats away if I read more about them before the order I probably wouldn't have got them but they do look amazing. (meant to quote post)
Well done on the door pull. I didn't know that wasn't part of the upcharge interior. So what is it normally, black?
Also, why would you put away the carbon fiber floor mats? I've been using them since day one and I just hit almost 10,100 miles and no problems.

I see lots of Silver/Black and Yellow/Black interiors with Shark Blue and Red/Black to a much lesser extent. I have not seen any Lizard Green/Black with Shark. Does anyone have pictures/thoughts on this combination?

My car is SB and yellow bits. I showed it to someone(on my phone) and their brain filled in ACID GREEN!. If I were doing green of anything I would do ACID and not Lizard as ACID is much brighter and lighter. With that said, neither goes with Shark Blue!!!….although ACID has a lot more yellow in it than Lizard!!! NOW…..Acid Green and the new Arctic Grey…….that would be the way I would spec a GT4RS or Spyder R.
Guess I've been remiss in posting anything to this thread. After delivery, I sort of left the waiting room and got busy. Since I've been away I got break-in (at least to AP's standards) completed and a few adventures have been taken. Here are a few pics. Most are from a visit to MD to see a lifelong friend and trade rides like we used to do
in our college days. The other pic is from a recent local caffeine & gasoline event.
You can tell instantly that we really could have used a Wimbledon white Shelby GT350 to balance out our color pallette.
@alltimesaresoon how are you liking your espresso / cognac interior? If / when I get my GTS allocation, my plan was to do the exact some combo! Not sure why this spectacular interior is not chosen more often.
