Smegman, anything that you'd spec differently now that you've had the car a few days?
Navigation would have been useful for my road trip but that was only because my phone is a slow piece of garbage, but definitely not worth 2400! Maaaybe do the deviated stitching on the steering column? Can't say I look at that much lol. Maybe do the auto dim mirrors? I had no issue flipping the mirror switch when some moron behind me had his brights on, he turned them off shortly after which was cool, not sure if those auto dimmers reflect it back at them like the cheaper option does.
Looks like you can get the seat belts in Shark blue now on the configurator so I'd go for that for sure!
other than that its pretty perfect to me! Very happy with the 18 way seats they are so comfortable! I was hemming and hawing about getting the buckets or not, but I want to drive this a ton so I went with the 18 ways.
Only issues I have with the car can be solved with some aftermarket bits (Over axle pipes, valve controller, door pull color, steering wheel plastic)
The problem with Porsche's navigation is that they don't tell you all the other stuff you get when you buy it, like voice control, the track app will work etc.....

I think you can get this re-coded after the fact as I think the hardware is all there.

+1^^^^ ...and you also will have an inactive Nav button in your center console. Not a big deal but may bug some people seeing that button knowing they don't have Nav.
Personally, I haven't used the voice control since the nice thing with this gen PCM is that there are physical buttons for many things that I use frequently that is easier and quicker to use through physical button vs voice control. Examples are fan speed, temperature controls, volume, etc.
Messed around with Track App and it's pretty cool. I don't plan on tracking my car but I tried it "creating" my own track around the neighborhood and it worked except for the known issue of exporting data still in kph even though I set it to mph. I think someone reported that this has been fixed. I haven't tried it yet since last time so I'll have to drive it around the neighborhood again.
Besides that, it's still nice to have a built in Nav instead of relying on my cell phone as sometimes, I might be passing through an area that has spotty cell coverage.
Other than deviated stiching on the wheel and shift boot when optioning leather for those two items, what does the extended deviated stitching package offer on a GT4?

Deviated Stitching on:
Dashboard upper section including instrument shroud
Dashboard upper section including instrument shroud
Upper section of door panels
Door center panels
Center console side sections
Door panel armrests
Door grab handles
Center console storage compartment lid
Steering wheel
Gear lever
Seats
Thanks for the info but all of that except for the steering wheel and shift boot are deviated stitch with the $2,160 leather/race-tex package. I'm not seeing what the extra $3,230 for the extended deviated stitch buys other than wheel and shift boot stitch.
A stitching color of your choice beyond the prebundled red, yellow, silver. It's a lot of money for a thread color, but probably because it becomes a CT custom tailoring job off the normal assembly line. You can see the CT callout when this detailed build sheet lists the "Z" options, which seems to be where things get costly. (Those options in German are what I called out above).

When you spec this upgraded deviated stitching, what you're primarily getting is your choice of upgraded stitching colors aside from the regular silver, red, and yellow. The upgraded stitching colors includes, mamba green, lizard green, pebble grey, chalk, speed blue, etc.
