I'm having the same dilemma. Ordered yellow and think it looks amazing especially T trim with Agate Gray trim but the Blue looks good to. I don't think it will go as well with the T trim options and the side decal. I think I am leaning toward blue by 1% just because it's a new less comon color but I don't think it's $2600 better than Race Yellow. If they were the same price or even $600 maybe blue, but just not sure it's that much better than Yellow......????
I don't think that it is a case of 'better' but different, as for the cost $2600 is not too bad especially when compared to PTS! I would have likely chosen Shark Blue if it were available when I built my car,
As for the side decals, they contrast more on yellow, but personally I prefer the more subtle look on the Shark blue regarding the decals.
Dammit man!!! That is awesome. Thanks for sharing. I am going to post this on the waiting list thread for the doubters that still think the 10/1 date is in efect
figure i'll put this here too since I'm guessing mine will be one of the first shark blue GT4 in the US at least more pics to come hopefully this Thursday or Friday
Went down to Porsche San Diego and they have the car awaiting delivery. I spoke to the SA that sold the car and he said the car was actually a dealer build. The customer called and asked if they had an available allocation to which the SA responded to tell the client that they have the car built and en route. If I remember correctly, the client bought it like a month ago. He’s taking delivery this weekend. Flying down from San Francisco and will drive home on the 1.
Shark Blue, PCCB, yellow calipers, yellow stitching, yellow gauges, yellow chrono, 18 way, burmester, 6MT, carbon fiber trim, black wheels, PDLS+ is what I remember.
The color looks FANTASTIC! For those that bought it and love bright blues, this is a great color especially since it’s not PTS money. I’ll admit, it’s a very close second to my Riviera Blue. Yes, I’m biased.
I’ve seen Voodoo Blue in person and Shark Blue is definitely not as saturated as Voodoo Blue. Slightly less. Parking my RB next to the SB made me see how light RB is. When seeing RB on its own, it’s seems a little darker but next to SB, it’s definitely on the very light side of blue. Here are some pictures to help visualize.

@halfmonkey I'd say your Riveria Blue is an excellent color too - I think they are both looking really good when seeing them side by side. Thanks for getting us these great photos! Hopefully the owner will fix the side markers and then all will be good in the world.
@halfmonkey - Thank you so much for getting these shots. I was actually thinking about changing my order after seeing the indoor instagram shots. This solidified my shark blue order that is nearly identical except for silver stitching on the interior. It looks incredible in the sun.

I wonder if there was an adm on this sale.
You're welcome. I'd say the color in the pictures is pretty representative of the actual color but please don't hold me to that statement as everybody's eyes, computers, displays, and processing shows the color differently. Obviously, try and see one in person but in general, if you're ok with the color as shown in these pictures, you should be very happy.
If I wasn't able to get to PTS on my build, I would definitely get Shark Blue especially since it's not PTS money. I think your SB with silver stitching will be very nice. Looking forward to seeing it.
One thing I will say at least IMO is for those that ordered SB and got the red calipers, I would recommend against the red. I don't believe it's a good look. This blue is a bright blue that is quite saturated. I would highly recommend doing the black calipers. The car I saw had PCCB with yellow calipers and it looked good so that's another option. Again, just a recommendation but to each their own.

It's crazy how much SB seems to change based on all those factors. Even comparing the same pic on my phone and computer it looks like two totally different colors, like not even close.
And I haven't seen it in person but I think the red brake calipers on that GTS that I posted a few weeks ago looked really good. Maybe not quite as good as yellow PCCBs and yellow stitching, but I think probably good enough to not absolutely need to spend $900 on black calipers if you don't want to.
I was on the fence on if I should opt for the black callipers on my SB order but I watched a 911 GT3 in SB and red callipers and wasn't put off. Two others points kept sticking in my head.
1. As a kid I always thought red brakes were what made a car fast and sporty
2. Porsche has to be the only OEM I can think of that charges to go to black!!! Almost all charge for a colour. So it was a mater of principle. ha!
My interior has Speed Blue stitching so blue on blue with a spot of red. Had I gone with the Orange stitching I was eyeing up I'd have checked the box for the black callipers.
Thanks @halfmonkey for all the pics. Helps pass the time until the car arrives!

Thank you for the complement. I'm looking forward to seeing your SB with the Speed Blue stitching. Your car will look very nice and yes, the owner should get clear side markers.

SB does change with the lighting. Some of the pictures show the color in the shade and I'd say the color in the shade is a good representation while the color in the sun is also well represented. I think having my RB next to it helped my iPhone 11 Pro process the colors more accurately. It seems whenever someone tries to take a picture of a car as the only subject in the picture, the camera seems to always mis-represent the color.

Since I was a kid, I too have always associated red calipers with the performance version of a car so I get where you're coming from. It's just my personal opinion so please don't take offense at my recommendation of the black calipers. IMO, the red is a strong red against a strong blue. If you're good with the strong statement, rock it loud and proud. I can't wait to see of your SB cars. Such a great color.

Many thanks for the side-by-side photos. I ordered silver wheels with red calipers. I think that those will look quite good with SB exterior.
