Thanks guys, so they stop the car and there's less dust - this is good! I have a spyder now and the brakes are bigger than the GTS I came out of, and I have noticed quite a bit more dust. Perhaps the composite is different too between the two 4.0L siblings. Mine squeak too, so I'm going to try bedding them in, just need a quiet stretch of road.

My 1st Cars & Coffe event this morning ............
October 1st 2022
Saturday morning,
So got an invite to attend Cars & Coffee at Jim Dillard's development held 1st Saturday of each month.
I got my old butt up early for me at 5:45 am this morning.
Had to give myself time to feed the "Big-Red Boy", Rascal the Male Maine Coon.
Plus grooming him as that takes place 7-days a week and he does look forward to the extra-attention.
.
I thought since a lot of you like and enjoy other makes of performance cars.
You would enjoy seeing some of the Performance cars that came to Cars & Coffee.
And I should mention lots of Porsches !!!
There was a wide variety of them that came.
I tried to at least get some pictures of some of those for you.
It was early so unfortunately taking pictures was not easy as the sun was simply BLINDING and also caused Huge-Shadows.
As always these are taken with my new Samsung Model #22 cellphone.
As you will see some pictures turned out pretty good while others dealing with the sun not so good.
It was a HUGE turnout and Lots & lots of spectators.
I tried my best to take the pictures when the On-Lookers were not all around a vehicle/vehicles but it didn't work out always.
Ferrari with the V-12 Motor .............
Thanks guys for dropping by I hope you enjoy the pictures,
Terry

Nice job with the photos despite the glaring early morning sun! We had quite a turnout this morning. Lots of fun for everybody!!
And...are you sure that Maine Coon cat isn't actually a medium size dog???

Well my Good-Man I had not a clue that there would be as many of the Exotic cars that came to it in Abundance.
I suppose I could have taken pictures of every Porsche that was at the event.
I didn't as I thought Rennlist members might actual enjoy seeing the Exotic Cars versus seeing more of what we all already have, Porsche Cars.
Next time maybe I'll make it a point to take pictures of (Every) Porsche that comes !!!
Anyway, thanks for the invite as I did enjoy the event a lot.
Met some very nice men and had some interesting to me conversations with them.
And...are you sure that Maine Coon cat isn't actually a medium size dog???
He's actually as Big as the picture shows him.
He can stand on his rear-paws and come all the way up to my waist where my belt is. LOL !!!
I'm a 6' 1" tall fellow.

Major decision made yesterday regarding the GT4 ..........
Greetings,
Well I made the decision yesterday to (Remove) the Plastic-Cover over the Main-Display.
It's going on a year and as I have thought about it I decided to pull it off and see what I thought ???
Once I removed it I am glad I tried it on & off.
The Display Colors look Clearer/Sharper to me with the Plastic-Cover off than with the Cover on.
So, off it stays ..............
It's sometimes the smallest of things that make a difference,
Terry

I wouldn't put it back on. If you look at the first picture there's already debris on the bottom edge. If you want better protection you're better of getting a real screen protector.
https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/SPF99XS.html
I'm sure there's other cheaper options too.

What I did to preserve it was to use a Big Plastic Bag and placed it in side that.
Then place it in with the rest of my Saved Documents in the trunk.
If I were to sale the GT4 I can simply pull it back out of the bag and reinstall it.
Yes, it can go right back on the display instantly with No-Effort !!!

Yes under the Very-Bottom-Edge dust had accumulated over the 11-months.
The dust was so close to the Bottom-Edge you actually didn't see it.
As always members should do what works best for them.

Below is what has been going on with me and the GT4 ............
Hi everyone,
Been awhile since I have posted any updates.
I'm back now and below is what has been recently going on.
There will be three (3) separate posts so I can add the pictures I took.
(1) Recent trip to Kentucky to visit family.
(2) Porsche of Nashville 1st service.
(3) Jim Dillard totally detailing my GT4 after it's 1st service as I have been under the weather recently that started in Kentucky.
Here we go guys ............
So I decided to drive to Frankfort & Sadieville, Kentucky and stayed for a week.
Had an awesome time visiting and just hanging-out.
But ...............
As I said above while being there I did get a sore-throat and lost part of my deep-voice.
Thankfully that ^^^ didn't really effect my visit at all but was simply an inconvenience.
My Niece's hubby and my Niece both drove the GT4 and both loved doing so.
Darren my Niece's hubby really got into it after I had him slow down on a Straight-Away and had him Floor it and Hold-It WOT.
He instantly had a smile on his face after that.
One of his comments to me was something to the effect of, (Terry I couldn't own this I'd get in serious trouble). LOL !!!
My Niece has always loved Sport Cars and especially the Faster ones.
Darren said to me she just took off in it and the rest is now history.
They both took the GT4 out by themselves without me being in it.
I had them do that so they could have some Fun and Enjoy the Machine which they did.
I did get to eat Really-really good while visiting with them which is actually No-Surprise.
They both worked for Toyota in Georgetown, KY. and both are recently now retired.
BTW, before I forget I did have some excellent luck while visiting.
I found my lost GT4 Key-Fob in Racing-Yellow that's been missing since May 2022.
I hope you Enjoy the below pictures.
My (Great Niece) Ashlyn Dressman is soon to be finishing her four (4) years of College in Dayton, Ohio.
Ashlyn is Darren's and Teresa's daughter.
She will be completing all but her last Six (6) months come December 2022.
Her last Six (6) months she will actually be working in her profession which will complete her Four (4) years.
She will then have her Bachelor-Degree and if all goes as she wishes she might end up working for the Company she will be working for to complete her Four (4) years of College.
After we did the B-Day for Darren I got to see in person the Studio that Ashlyn rents.
It's Tuft Cooki in Dayton, Ohio.
A very interesting area of Dayton where the Artist/Creative people reside.
We are back to Darren's and Teresa's home and I have a New ..... Furry-Buddy named Clyde.
Clyde decided to just make himself at home and sat down in my lap.
Here is Darren getting ready to Try-Out the GT4.
Are these guys having FUN or what .............
I'm a firm believer that put anyone in a GT4 and they will have a GIANT-SMILE on their face.
Next is my Niece Teresa in the Driver's-Seat with Darren doing the Co-Pilot thing.
Part Two (2) below,
Terry

3rd part,
(3) Jim Dillard totally detailing my GT4 after it's 1st service as I have been under the weather recently that started in Kentucky.
Just some comments on Jim doing the GT4 for me.
As you will see below I did take some pictures.
But ..................
I didn't come even remotely close to actually covering everything he did.
He took all the time needed to do it in a SAFE manner to Not-Scratch the surface as it was a lot more NASTY than what the pictures would show.
He is a very meticulous person even when doing another person's Prized-Possession !!!
Thank-You Jim Dillard for taking care of my GT4.
Below, Jim is using my EGO Super-Charged hand held blower.
Below is the GT4 in it's assigned parking spot in the garage.
Thanks everyone for your time,
Terry
