Did you have scrambled eggs with the yolks or just egg whites? Any cheese?

2seats,

Thank-you for asking. I had the eggs southwestern style with the yolks, ham, and peppers with a side of toast.

They came in this carton from a local farm. This surprised me, because the last time I bought eggs I thought were local I found out they actually came from Paraguay. I tried to reach the farmer in Paraguay to ask him about his hens, but I couldn't get a correct number and they kept putting me though to a farm in Venezuela. We had difficulty understanding each other because I can't speak Spanish, so I kept going on and on about their Farm Fresh eggs, and they thought I was asking for help with my wife and invitro.

I checked the date and they arrived at the store on Sunday at 8:50am. I looked up the farm location they came from, and found their website with a photo of a chicken named "Penny" who apparently laid the eggs I had this morning. I called and spoke with the farmer, Bill McDonald, and he told me how his eggs are the freshest around and Penny and her coop really are a really good bunch of hens keeping up with the local demand.

I normally don't buy Jumbo eggs, but they were were on sale so I took advantage. I also picked up a large pack of chicken breasts, diced tomatoes, salsa, turkey, onion, and Monterey jack cheese for a dish I'm making this weekend. We're having friends coming on from out of town for the July 4th holiday weekend and are preparing one of their favorite dishes.

Terry, hopefully this post doesn't offend you. It's all in good fun, but I couldn't help but take the bait. Happy July 4th weekend!

Hey if you guys like dropping by this thread and having some fun have at it.

There's plenty of Porsche comments so a few crazy comments from a few Rennlist members certainly can't hurt.

Later,
Terry

Like I said earlier, Terry, you have WAAAY too much time on your hands! But then, so do I, or I'd be doing something constructive with my Porsche instead of reading about your breakfast! I had waffles, BTW.

Guys,

Well dropped the GT4 off at 7 am this morning.

Already received an E-Mail from Nick.
He will let me know when it's completed.

Changes requested.

Also, as we were leaving we saw the following Porsche Cayman sitting outside and it did have a window sticker so don't know if it was a sold unit or not ???
Another Racing Yellow and it did look nice.
Picture taken from inside the Golf R passenger window as we were leaving.

A lot of dealers absolutely refuse to perform aftermarket mods. Nice that you found one that's not afraid. It can come back to bite.

Still at PON being worked on.
Nick being the Shop-Foreman gets constantly pulled-off what he is working on to assist with other more pressing things.

We are on the same Line-of-Thinking for sure.

Thumbs up Just got an E-Mail from Nick at PON ..........

Nick said if you wish I have your Stock OAP all boxed-up with the stock hardware enclosed for pick-up.

It only takes like 20 minutes or so to get to PON if traffic is not bad.

So, drove over and sure enough Nick had the stock OAP & hardware boxed and ready to go.
I'm going to save the stock items just in-case sometime I might be forced into letting the GT4 go to a new owner.
And that owner might prefer the stock Porsche OAP VS the now SOUL OAP Jet-Hot 1300 degree ceramic coated after-market part.

Thumbs up My Porsche Cayman 718 GT4 is back on the PON showroom floor ...

Guys,

Received this in an E-Mail from Nick at PON.

Cool Terry.
I’ve got your car tucked away until the grease arrives Monday.
It’s in good company.
The OAP and exhaust valve controller mod sounds super bad on cold start during the catalyst warm up phase.
The remotes easily programmed to the garage door buttons.

Nick

So, Monday seems to be the day to Pick-Up the New Bad-*** LOUDER GT4.

Guys,

Unfortunately Nick is not feeling well so took time off from PON.
Before he took off work last Saturday he did take the time to move my GT4 to the old Mini Store a few doors from PON.
He parked it on the showroom floor to insure it would remain safe and not be available to the public.

Bad news buddy

I'd had some postnasal sinus drainage the last couple of days which I figured was due to the rain causing the trees and plants to suddenly release a whole bunch of pollen. I thought that was the case until I started to feel a bit off at work towards 11 to noon and cut the day short. Had a 99 temperature when I got home 40 minutes later. Did a nasal Home COVID test which yielded a very, very faint line. Two hours later did jabbed my throat with it in addition to doing my nostrils and it came back very positive.

So there's that.

And my nephews are down from VT for the week too. Assuming everyone else here is unscathed, I guess I’m gonna live on the back porch a few days. Tent it up. My wife tested and was negative, so I guess that's the silver lining.

Looks like I'm out of commission until Wednesday or later.

You might want to test as we had a few engaging conversations this week.

Nick
.

Hopefully Nick will get to feeling better soon and once again return to PON.
Terry
