Try these. It is (seemingly) more common in Europe:

Thanks so much. I looked on cars.com for GTS 4.0 but there are so few and the one that had PASM was blurred. This helps.

UK Porsche finder too:

I have only seen (on the GTS) sPASM and it is pretty much perfect to my eye. I'm not worried about the ride quality, or the clearance.

Agree, PASM wheel gap is too much. Went SPASM.

That’s the thing - I am worried about ride quality and clearance as I take my sports cars on long trips - 1,000 miles plus. The 992 with PASM was perfect for me, but it didn’t seem to have the wheel gap that’s in these GTS photos above. Maybe because the rims are larger on the C2S it’s a optical illusion?

I am sensitive to wheel gap - I can't help it. If I had the desire for a 992 it would have sPASM for sure and if I could get the GTS 5mm lower I'd do that too. I like the sPASM on the GTS though, not too high not too low, with a nicely proportioned gap from top of tire around the arches. The base Cayman to me looks jacked right up.

Got it. The “looks” is the stumbling block for me, too. I did read the Motor Trend article about not to worry about SPASM vs. PASM. Right now I’ve got PASM specified and obviously it’s not sitting well with me. I have a few more weeks to gestate on it. I scraped on my 981, 991.2, and 992. The 981 was the standard suspension, so one has to be careful regardless.

It seems that I’m foolish deleting free stuff included in the GTS.
- Sport Seats Plus - had them, they don’t work for me.
- Alcantara - I am not a fan of micro suede. Prefer vented seats, so leather.
- SPASM - PASM was great in my 992, but is it great in a B GTS? Maybe PASM in a 992 = SPASM in a 718? Dunno. There are no cars to try out, so it’s a guess. My thinking right now is get the SPASM and if it’s an issue, change out the springs or get a lift kit.

I agree with UncleDude. Also ordered SPASM for the look and from what I’ve seen and heard in video reviews and read in reviews, ride quality is just fine.

Chiming in here, 3 months and 4,000 miles on my 2021 GTS 4.0 Manual with SPASM.

At first I thought the car was a little stiff with the SPASM. I rented a GT4 for a weekend, that had the DSC and still was noticeably slightly stiffer than my GTS.

Then I discovered my tires were at 38 psi cold from the dealer. I experimented and ended up with setting them at 29/30 cold, which gets up to 32 or so over the course of a 1 hour spirited drive. That softened the car up quite a bit.

And then shortly after the tire pressure change, I added the DSC. Those two changes in combination made a HUGE difference! Now it is a great balance of being very compliant in the Normal Suspension setting, and not too punishing in the Sport Suspension setting either. In Normal it is like a Magic Carpet Ride over some pretty bumpy Country Roads, while still having great handling. I love it now!

I agree with the comments here that SPASM is awesome visually with regards to wheel gap.

If I were to order another one for whatever reason, I would definitely do SPASM again.

SPASM for me. Great stance and not a harsh ride at all. I think u would regret not getting SPASM.

Northeast here - Westchester County. PASM all the way in my Boxster GTS. With our road conditions I cannot imagine anything else

Thanks for sharing your impressions. I also have SPASM and have been considering the DSC. Just out of curiosity, did you get the Pirellis or the Michelins with yours?

That's helpful actually. I got the Pirellis and have been pretty happy with them, except for the sometimes flinty ride quality. I always wondered if it were down to the tires, but from your experience, it seems that even with the PS4's there is room for improvement with DSC.

Thanks to everyone for your feedback and sharing to help me decide. I also asked my 992 friend that drives SPASM in Boston, and she tipped the scale. I changed my order back to SPASM today and now my build is finalized. My dealer wrote “I approve of this message,” lol.
