So because your SA was a total screw-up, I assume you never got to the point where you had a commission number?

Welcome, anytime.

I'm sure Larry will respond but I think what unfortunately happened to him was he had a commissioned car but the salesperson delayed entering/updating the build with PTS and by doing so other customer cars filled the PTS quota.

no quite the opposite I had and have a commission # and an order (once the dealer submits an order into the system it gets a commision#),
the problem, which I described earlier, was that my SA did not modify my order to add PTS until a couple of weeks ago, hence
that placed my PTS order at the very end of the list for PTS.

I still have a valid order for a Jan build, it just does not, and very likely will not get an approved PTS

Yet in my case we did everything right - we entered the order as PTS from the moment we placed it a month or two ago.

which suggests that the available # of PTS slots is low ... I was told anecdotally that those available may be counted on the fingers of one hand... again we will know
shortly after 9/14 when the Jan orders apparently lock with PCNA...

A long time ago I was told they only do 4 slots per month so it wouldn't be surprising that the number of slots can be counted on one hand
and if they have 100 orders, then there's no way that all will be filled unless there's 25 months of production
but this runs counter to the 991.2 GT3 experience
of course, there's always the norm for PTS experience and that is there is no norm
there's no process or procedures that are set in stone
you can't ask one person and get a straightforward answer
and then there's a pandemic and environmental and governmental regulations
so, who knows? who really knows?
Eduardo tried to get an audience to find some answers to these questions and more
he was rebuffed so he bought a Ferrari

Wow. I thought he is quite connected in the Porsche world.

Does Porsche not care about keeping their long term customers? Not a good way to do business IMO. Just because business is still good during COVID, doesn’t mean you can just rest on your laurels.

Anyone successfully get PTS with Spyder Classic Interior Package? It's allowed in the configurator, but I'm being told it's not!

Just added my order to the list, apparently it's been approved in Auratium green, but then apparently it's not on the list so who knows...

I received an email from PCNA advising me that my PTS key cheeks have still not been approved, my choices were to wait another month to see if they get approved or delete it and proceed. I guess I saved some money today!
