Do I take 2nd best (slate grey), or take a chance and try to find another PTS allocation later in the year for my first choice and also get ED? Dammit..

I’d say delaying and waiting is quite risky at this point, but obviously maybe your dealer can shed light on how realistic it is to push it off for a new build slot.
Depending on how long your order has been “fixed” - I’d also suggest asking your dealer to push your request up the ‘food chain” to their zone rep (or whomever they ask) to see if your color can be changed. The worst they say is no. It is possible to have some change after a build is fixed, but each case is different, and I suspect a color change is a LOT more difficult than something equipment related (like seats or PCCB) but worth asking.

Does anyone know if Arrow Blue is approved for the 718 Spyder? I know it has been used on the GT3 but I don’t have access to any official list. Thanks.

I see it listed on the September PTS list and the December PTS updated list, so it’s been approved for at least a few months.

I almost wish I didn’t know that now 
I think an Arrow Blue Spyder would look amazing. Once I secure an allocation perhaps I’ll pester the dealer about the possibility of PTS!

It will be beautiful! Have you seen the GT3 in Arrow Blue with the chalk wheels. Looks perfect imho.
