I remember posting about just viewing it back in December. We ended up trading in our gentian blue spyder for this gt4 last week.

Are you in SoCal as well? Definitely would love to see that Riviera Blue once it comes in

Well, your friend Skafia broke the news of you picking up the Pastel Orange car on another thread. Congrats on the car. Did you actually the car or was this a dealership order orphan and you picked it up?

I am in SoCal and looking forward to meeting up with folks for C&C and local drives.

It was quite the adoption process.
I'm sure we'll cross paths whether it be a local drive or a C&C!

We loved the Spyder, but the color is what interested us mainly to make the switch, also my pops was favoring a PDK car.

Wow! Congrats! Welcome Riviera Blue. I didn't think I would come across another person selecting Riviera Blue as it didn't seem as popular as Mexico Blue or some of the other blues that people are sharing but a RB GT4 should look awesome.

Aside from PTS & PCCB it's a fairly basic car, I don't like the plastic sun visors so I splurged on the leather ones.

Thanks for sharing your full build detail. Didn't mean for you to type all of this out but thanks. I was just asking for the Porsche build code the website gives you when you build out your car on the configurator and follow it through to the end. I was going to add the build code to the spreadsheet. Again, thanks for sharing your full build though. It looks great.

Just a couple of questions or suggestions are this comes up a lot. I noticed you didn't add the free smoking package. Not necessarily because you're a smoker or not but because it adds a cover to the center console storage bin and it adds another 12v outlet in case you need to use the battery maintainer or want another 12v power outlet.

Also, you added the leather visors because you didn't like the plastic ones. Just also want to through out there about the free leather upgrade on the steering wheel too. Personally, I switched because I don't like Alcantara on high touch point areas because over time it gets matted down and can get dirty and the steering wheel is the highest touch point on the car with our greasy and oily hands. Just throwing that out there.

Lastly, no Apple CarPlay?

I cut & pasted my build sheet - way too much work to type.

I do have the Smoking Package included.
My current GT3 has the leather wheel but I prefer the feel of Alcantara which I had on my 981 GT4
but I do agree with you about keeping Alcantara clean, etc.
My phone is android.

Best of luck to you. Have you checked in with your SA? Remind me(us) again when you submitted your order for PTS (so we know how long you've been waiting.)

It seems that based on Jon H's timeline of getting a build as late as May 28, 2021 with an eta delivery of 7/9/21, PTS window is still open. My list shows two people with May builds and July deliveries. Maybe if you haven't heard anything, it might be because of the color you selected? Maybe you selected one that isn't on the approved list?
