Soul Resonated OAP review:
I was running full factory system with a VC. I found the car made good sound with the VC, however a bit of drone under 3000rpm and a touch boomy. A few days ago I installed the resonated OAP's with Techline Ceramic coating.
With the R-OAPs + VC, the sound has changed. The boomy sound has gone, leaving the exhaust note a lot cleaner and crisper sounding. It is still a deep note though. The drone has completely gone. I can cruise on a highway in 4th-6th gears between 2000-3000 rpm with valves open without any drone or resonance pickup. Volume under 4000rpm is very close to OEM + VC, just cleaner note (+10% vol). Over 4000rpm I'd say a slight increase in volume (+15% vol). Basically, if I drove and OEM+VC vs a R-OAP+VC setup back-to-back, I'd be hard pressed to pick the difference from a volume aspect.
With valves closed, volume is up marginally vs OEM, but for me a cleaner sound. Actually driving hard in VC closed mode, is a good alternative at times as now gives good balance between induction and exhaust.
Performance seems pretty much the same, except over 6000rpm seems to have a bit more urgency about acceleration.

Thanks for sharing your feedback, I'm running OAP with a stock muffler, Valve PSE.. not bad to my hearing but yeah, there's a little drone, and boom..I'm looking forward to hearing the sound of Soul Valved Exhaust when I pair it to OAP ..if it's so much .. I'll go R-OAP for sure.

With R-OAP + PSE + VC combo, is a cleaner sound and improved performance at basically OEM volume turned up marginally over only PSE + VC.

Or drive in the drone-free rpm range if it gets too tedious, as I do occasionally.

I didn't find the drone too bad, more the boomy/resonance sound of VC, which I believe is likely more pronounced in Cayman. What I actually really like now is valves closed option with R-OAP as get clarity and balance of induction + exhaust without being loud. Nice to have both options.

John Gaydos,
In one of our discussions you mentioned that I could use a cellphone for doing a video of my newly installed SOUL OAP with the Jet-Hot 1300 ceramic coating.
I finally tried doing that yesterday morning.
The video does actually sound like what you actually hear in the GT4 with windows closed and the Exhaust-Valves-OPEN continuously.
I doubt it's what you probably what you might have wanted ???
But .............
It does give an excellent example of your OAP on the 2021 GT4 of mine.

I have a lot of Compliments on your SOUL OAP and the way it Totally Transforms the GT4 into an Awesome sounding machine.
BTW,
If you recall speaking to Jim Dillard also located here in "Historic" ...... Franklin, Tennessee, USA ???
His new 2022 Porsche Spyder has arrived at the port in Huston, Texas.
He also ordered your SOUL OAP with the Jet-Hot 1300 ceramic coating after hearing as well as driving my GT4 for a longgggg extended demo.
He was Highly impressed with your SOUL OAP product !!!
Thanks SOUL for an excellent product,

Thanks guys for posting up your feedback! The more data points from various drivers we can get the better, and I'm quite happy to hear you're enjoying the setups
Once you get the VES installed and get 500 miles or so of break in that muffler be sure to give us a shout and let us know how you like it : )

I rode recently as of last Friday Jim Dillard's 2022 Porsche Spyder in Gentian Blue.
We took it to Murfreesboro to TINTWORKS (Randy) XPEL & Graphics and next door to Marlins Auto Detailing (Chris) for Paint Correction & Gtechniq Ultra Serum plus EXO top-coats.
I'll send a link to Jim and hopefully he will come back here and post what he thinks of his Newly installed SOUL Resonated OAP, Cargraphics Mode 2 Controller & BMC Performance intake filters.
Jim had the same thing I do but instead of my SOUL Jet-Hot 1300-degree OAP.
He has the SOUL Ceramic-coated Resonated version.
Also, for those interested Jim might also take a few minutes and do a comparison between driving my GT4 W/PDK versus his Spyder W/6 speed manual and the SOUL Resonated OAP.
John G. for what it's worth you have an EXCELLENT (Yes Yelling) because the SOUL Ceramic Coated OAP (Over-Axle-Pipes) deserve the YELLING they are totally AWESOME guys.

I'll be sure to send a Link to Jim Dillard on these comments.
Also, I do know that his Spyder is in the Final-Stages of being completed at Marlins Auto Detailing.
So, in the new future Jim will be picking it up and surely he will be driving it once he gets it.
Here his is at Marlins as it's being pulled in to Marlins last week.
BTW,
John I'm still waiting (Patiently) on that little item we discussed, hint-hint

I have a 2021 Spyder PDK
After a long discussion with John, I have decided on their Race exhaust with resonated OAP.
Let me explain. I have a history with quite loud aggressive exhausts if they sound amazing. Meisterschaft on my E92 M3, Soul open value on my 981 Cayman S, I have a Ducati 1299 race bike with full race exhaust.
Also, given this is Spyder, the engine is a bit more insulated (the top) and there isn't quite the cabin of the GT4 for drone. My e92 was a drone machine at 75mph on highway.
I will attempt to make some before videos/sound clips while the exhaust is on order.
