Valved rear section, all else stock. Same as yours and I have a manual transmission, but it sounds like a PDK because the computer rev-matched for me LOL

When does the computer downshift for you? Never heard of that with a 6 speed.

Autblip is on in sport mode for rev match on downshift, sorry I should've been more clear.

Unfortunately I’m on the road for work right now and don’t have the PDFs with me on my iPad. The Soul Race Exhaust + Soul street header made 414whp measured on a dynojet with a 1.02 or 1.03 SAE correction. The car baselined 358ish WHP earlier in the year on that Dyno.

Here’s one more I made in the fog. In this one the car is pretty cold, and the sound is 100% valves closed except for idle (you can hear the valves open). I’m in sport mode. The sounds that it makes are audible in the cabin valves closed, which is really nice compared the very quiet stock sound. The cool thing is that it isn’t much louder (if at all?), it just sounds more lively. Because of this I probably won’t experiment with a valve controller because it is an X pipe sound open and closed, and one of the main reasons I chose this rear section.

It isn’t exciting, but hopefully a good data point for someone.

You do know the Soul controller can be programmed to be always open or always closed, as well as the stock configuration or always open, depending on how you set it up? Do you plan to remove the sound tube thingie?

Yes I did know that about the controller, here's my "review" after a week of ownership. I'll circle back and add more information to that thread in a week or so. I think I'm just past the break in now, and want to drive with another forum member who heard it day two to see if he thinks it is different.

Today we had a GT4 in to receive our Competition Over Axle Pipes, Valve Controller, and RSNV Wing Risers - pictured here! They're definitely a good looking addition to an aggressive car.

Hello Everyone,
.
Exciting new release for us, and not exhaust related. We're had multiple 718 4.0L owners/friends of ours complain of premature clutch wear/slippage both on and off the track, and on modified and unmodified vehicles, most notable on wide open throttle shifting from 2nd to 3rd. Some feedback on this can be found in this thread on Rennlist, it seems to not be an uncommon experience. Given there was not much of a solution to this other than having replacement with factory components to expect a repeat occurrence (981 GT4 aftermarket is not compatible), we did a bit of a deep dive on this and connected with a very well-reputed and experienced Porsche drivetrain development company out of the UK called Ninemeister. They have developed a lightweight flywheel/clutch replacement specific to the 718 4.0L which resolves this clutch slippage, and we are now importing these packages into North America.

Below are some more details, feel free to give me a ring/call anytime to chat a bit more in depth about it and/or to order a kit. If you place an order on our website, be sure to reference my name and Rennlist during checkout and I'll follow up with ETA personally.

Product Description
.

.
Within the science of making a car go faster while there is little new to be learned, there are often items which are overlooked. While increasing engine power is the obvious choice of the masses, reducing power lost in the drive train is always an effective way to get something for free which does not compromise the integrity or reliability of the engine. Step forward the lightweight flywheel.
.
A dictionary definition of a flywheel is a “mechanical energy storage device” – the heavier the flywheel the more energy the flywheel will store. But more importantly, the lighter the flywheel the less energy (read power) it requires to accelerate it to speed, so for any given engine power, with a lighter flywheel more of that power will end up at the tires to accelerate the car harder in any gear.
.
Lightweight Flywheel Benefits:
.
CNC machined from carbon steel billet
45% reduction in inertia compared to stock dual mass flywheel (13.6 lbs / 6.2kg LWF vs 24.9 lbs / 11.3kg DMF)
Direct replacement
Increases wheel power
Improves acceleration
Improves throttle response
Faster downshifts / rev matching due to faster rpm matching
Spigot bearing and new flywheel bolts are included.
.
Performance Clutch Benefits:
.
Higher thermal capacity compared to OEM friction material
Higher transmittable torque compared to OEM
SACHS Performance pressure plate giving higher transmittable torque and higher clamp load
Capable of over 550Nm torque
Sprung uprated organic center plate with OEM pedal feel
Ideal upgrade for typically fast road/track day cars and everyday use
.
.
NOTES: Slight transmission noise will be present at low rpms due to vibrations from the engine being transmitted to the un-driven gears on the shafts. The reduction in mass equates to less stored energy, so the car will also require more delicate clutch control at low rpm – an acceptable tradeoff for a much more responsive engine.
.
ABOUT NINEMEISTER: Ninemeister is one of the leading independent Porsche specialists in the UK. With a history of the marque from early air-cooled cars to the latest GT models, they specialize in everything from full track cars to routine servicing, engine rebuilds, engine and chassis upgrades.
.
SHIPPING: We usually keep these kits in stock – they usually ship same or next business day. Contact us for expedited orders to ensure proper delivery time.

Default Soul OAP's & VC=Awesome sound!

Put this clip in the wrong thread a few days ago.

My GTS sounded better than the 911 Turbo S and the GT3 that were at my chapter's PCA Car Control Clinic last weekend. Everyone was asking about what mods I had done. There is very little drone, ie not bothersome, around 2200 RPM-solution is to rev it higher! Could not be happier with my setup.
