Get ready for absolute mayhem my friend! I know we've spoken about it many times, that setup is insane haha. Keep the revs over 3k for best results

I got my pair of slash-cut Black dual wall tips for the Spyder yesterday...nice! And I plan to paint the hardware (and the rears of the muffler) with high temp Black paint for an even better look.

Default Thanks for the great service by SOUL!

New here and new to SOUL. I researched the market and landed on SOUL for my 718 GT4 interests. Met Paul, who quickly replied to my email and then called me personally. WOW! That’s the best service from any vendor. Excited to place my order for
* headers (Catless)
* over axle (filterless)
* valved exhaust

* now I need the ECU tune

Whoo Hoo. Can’t wait. Thanks for the great service Paul. Looking forward to meeting John. Andy

I haven't had much opportunity to get on my phone today. Had to run back home to attend a birthday party.

I picked up my car today after having installed my soul competition headers w/jet hot 1300 and my resonated race exhaust (w/jet hot 1300 on the over axle pipes only). Drove home 70 miles mostly highway until the last 10 minutes.

I don't even know where to begin. The shop told me over the phone wait till you come pick it up, you don't understand. They were right. Mean, raw, loud doesn't even begin to describe it. It is 100 percent race car as someone put it, total RSR. I describe it as untamed, brutal, and downright filthy. It completely transformed the experience for me. I absolutely love the car but the sound department was a bit lacking for my taste (I didn't have a valve controller, OAP, or anything prior). This is game over.

It sounds absolutely incredible and I am so in love. I laughed most of the way home. I cant imagine another car sounding this good. A lot of people talk about how amazing the gt3 sounds. Ive never driven one or been in one for that matter, but I'd be tempted to eat my hat if one sounded this good. You have no idea how exotic and intoxicating this sounds..

I am still observing break in and installed the setup at 550 miles, so not pushing it too hard. Hit 5500-6k a couple of times with pretty moderate throttle and my cheeks/forehead felt botoxed from smiling.

Absolutely zero chance of me taking this setup off. I understand it's not for everyone but damn, this is something special. I have heard every video of this exact combination. As always with videos, it must be heard in person, as.matt said in one of his videos, you can't capture it. Must be heard in person. You will absolutely get necks snapping. I had barely gotten off my exit and started to hit some traffic lights when 2 different people flagged me down and started taking a video, haha..
The nice thing is that we all have choices. All of the vendors here have really awesome sounding exhaust setups for the gt4 and no question come from great companies. I obviously went with soul and am a super satisfied customer.

I forgot to mention my installer ordered 3 different o2 spacers. No CEL after 70 miles. I forgot which one was used. I'll have to ask. I didn't get a tune.
It was also a nice touch meeting another rennlist gt4 owner at the shop picking up his 765lt. Nice chatting with you!

Edit - the drone doesn't bother me one bit, but ymmv.

Nice, cannot wait to get my Soul stuff installed although I am going with the Street header/high flow cats. Why did you not get the valve controller, or did you?

You will love the street headers I bet! Congrats! They will sound epic in person..I didnt get the valve controller prior to this setup because I had my sights set on the race exhaust and no valves to worrry about anymore.

My bad, I missed the race exhaust part, which eliminates operating valves...enjoy!

Man this makes me more excited - still waiting for street headers to come in and already have the race exhaust installed. Hoping I have a similar experience. Enjoy!

Just installed my Resonated Race Exhaust today and wow - what a difference! Power / torque were felt immediately as well as an increase in sound. It sounds absolutely amazing and definitely the "race car" sound I was looking for. Not sure I'd want to do the street headers simply because I don't need it any louder.

Conversely, there's quite a loud "boomy" resonance (drone) between 2000-2500rpm. Whenever I have some free time I'm absolutely going to see about plugging / disconnecting the sound symposer to see if that helps. As it stands, the drone is deafening in the 2000-2500 range under any amount of throttle and is requiring me to either keep revs below 2000 (lots of short shifting) or above 3000.

I was able to knock this out with my father-in-law in 3-4 hours with a single jack + jack stands:

Great to hear a no holds barred review. thank you for that.

Any check engine lights yet?

If not do you have the name of the o2 spacers?

What about gas smell? On a scale from 1 to 10?

With the canadian dollar going up in value might be tempted to do a full setup like yours.

Much more fun to keep it above 3k
