Stick the dang camera w/mic on the rear bumper so we get real time sound and eliminate the Doppler Effect. Please.
My 981 Soul Valved Exhaust was a symphony and I don't expect anything less here, but let's hear the real sound.

Love watching Matt's Obsessed Garage videos -- always informative, well produced, and entertaining! However with that being said, I find this video largely the same as every other OAP GPF delete video in that it doesn't capture the true intensity of deleting the GPF. In fact in reviewing many on line videos I had trouble sometimes hearing the difference in the before/after...
I've had the Soul GPF Delete OAP pipes on for week and I fond the intensity (dB) and tone to be much better than represented in the video. Personally, I find it spine-tingling --- something I don't get from any of the on line videos.
Beautiful product and flawless install.
I’m really looking at a resonated race exhaust. Seems to be a great value compared to the OAP that are sold. Including soul’s own OAP . About 1k more and you have a full exhaust. Sounds the best so far that I’ve heard on you tube. Except for the 10000 plus $ inconel full exhaust from the uk. (I don’t remember the company). Waiting patiently for matt’s video.. Plus you can use stock tips for a more undercover look. Will probably be my chrismast gift for the spring when I get my gt4 out of the garage.
With GPF delete I honestly can't imagine many going beyond that mod --- except for the rare few that just need to push the boundaries of volume.
Just my opinions of course...

If you are the person that have that PSE button ON all the time this is a great option and you don't have to push the PSE anymore
But one thing that most people don't take into consideration is the simple design of the race exhaust.
By taking out the GPF and the valves you can design a system that is simpler (single path), lighter and produce more power.
Of course you have to take into consideration volume and drone which will be present all the time now.

Right now I have the valves always open on the stock exhaust (vacuum line disconnected)I don’t find the drone really problematic. Except maybe once in a while when I come back from a hard day at work and I’m really tired with a headache then I say « maybe I should have kept the valve function ». But every sunny Saturday morning I just can’t wait to get in my gt4 with the valves always open. And the volume perfectly ok. What I Really Like About The race resonated exhaust is the high pitch sound getting To 8000 RPM. If you look at the prices of performance exhaust from Porsche on their cars they are around $3000 for a slight bump in sound and obviously you don’t get to keep the stock parts. So for around $2600 you get a full cat back exhaust, emissions compliance and when you sell your car you can always put the stock exhaust back if the buyer wants it. I’m really itching...
Exactly! On my 981 GT4 I had race headers with the GT3 muffler conversion configured Cup style (lower path only)...that was loud but the sound was soooo goood!
Did it had drone? Yes....at around 2500....Loud? Yes...but I was willing to live with it as it wasn't a daily and you could tame the volume with the right foot.
The Soul Race Exhaust should provide a pretty close experience to that of my 981 GT4. Did order it with the resonator to tame the sound a bit...just a tiny bit

Decided not to install my race exhaust until the weather gets better In the northeast. It's going to turn bad shortly. However, I decided it was wise to use the time to order the competition headers and install both when the weather improves

For me it’s purely a sound thing. I could care less about the weight loss or HP/TQ gains.

I am pretty much along the same lines. I think this might be the exhaust for me.

@Soul Performance Any reason you chose to build 2.5" piping instead of 3". 3" would be much louder so I'm just curious.

Just saw the Soul Race Exhaust video from Matt. It sound's cool but definitely not "INSANE LOUD" like I would have hoped. Maybe the video just doesn't do it any justice. It sound's great, don't get me wrong, but definitely not loud enough for me. I will wait for the full race exhaust + race header system to make a final decision.

Thanks for the kind words guys! Much appreciated
The factory headers are a big restriction point on sound level, when those cats are gone it is going to amplify the race exhaust considerably. And 2.5” piping is realistically as big as you can/should go on the over axle pipes for fitment.

John Gaydos
