These tips will fit any system that can use stock tips - they will fit our Race Exhaust! I will be updating our site to reflect the tip options that are now available.

PSE on = valves always open for when I want it louder
Yep. That what Cirrusly said. Some people are saying that DSC is trying to add valves programming in their module, but that would anyway require you to buy a device regardless. As far as I know there is no way to program the ECU to do that what you said with the PSE original setup. Only the valve controllers. I added the Cargraphics one which cost around ~370 delivered here in the US. This one works by bypassing the ECU to Solenoid signal into their device. SOUL's solution is also good but it works on the vacuum lines (between solenoid and valves).

Interesting news, Scott at Softronic Tuning can now turn off the cylinder deactivation while tuning the ECU. Bench flash only (remove and send to him). Available on our website here, we'll have a dropdown for cylinder deactivation removal added shortly.

Our Bolt On Exhaust Tips are available now!

Each tip is built with laser cut .065″ wall, 4″ tubing. 316 stainless steel is our material of choice as it has a higher corrosion resistance than T304L stainless steel. Premium Swivel Exhaust Clamps are included to make sure your tips stay secure in place on both street and track. A tip ring is incorporated into the end of the tip to allow for adjustment of angle to ensure your tips sit perfectly. Every set is rigorously quality-checked prior to shipping and then foam packed to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.

FINISHES: SOUL tips are available in several styles and finishes. Natural finishes options include polishing, hand-brushing, and a matte Signature Satin. Black tips are coated with a high end PVD coating for maximum bonding strength and increased finish durability. Looking for something unique? Contact us for custom logos and colors in both cosmetic PVD coatings and Jet-Hot ceramic coating – perfect for the more aggressively driven 718.

Signature Satin, Brushed, and Polished finishes are available now, black coated tips will be available in late December.

Thanks for the reply Mike!! Will you plan on offering a single wall, and will it mate to the race exhaust? If not I'll spring for the double wall. They all look great!

Where did you buy in the US for that price?

The Single Wall option is coming but it'll be a bit. The first big batch made was Dual Wall, Single Wall is next up haha.

John - Is the Jet Hot ceramic coating available for your OAPs? I know you've mentioned it before, but I don't see it as an option on your web site.

Hey John/Mike. I’m curious about the valve controller. Closing the valves definitely sounds great. My question is there an impact to torque or horsepower in the lower rev’s when closing the valves? I’m thinking no but unsure. TIA

We do indeed, we have a set out there for fellow RL member Larry Cable as we speak. If you're going to do it, the best coating they offer is the 2500degree Extreme Heat and runs about $450 for the set. We'll likely add it as a drop down option in the near future for those that just want to go for overkill haha. For now, I'll process it manually just give me a call at 4848836197 or shoot me an email at johng@soulpp.com.

We have yet to dyno the difference between PSE valves closed and forced open on a dyno in the low end and mid range, but I can feel a difference. With the PSE muffler running valves closed the car doesn't rev as free as when the valves are overridden and running open. I'd put a fiver down that the car loses some power with the PSE muffler running closed vs if it were to be running valves open 100% of the time. Which makes sense to me seeing how restrictive the PSE muffler's flow path is with all the exhaust flow going through the muffler's valved closed flowpath. Take a look at the video below to see the internals of the PSE muffler to help visualize this.

Regards,
John Gaydos

I knew I could count on you for a straight answer - can't thank you enough for that. I'm eagerly awaiting the dyno results.
