Default Is it summer yet?

It certainly seems so on the southern part of the island, low to mid 70's for the past 2 days and getting even hotter for the weekend, yeah!

I celebrated by pulling off the all season tire set and popping back on the summer's, even the water looks inviting today, clear and calm all the way to Pt. Angeles and Hurricane Ridge on the Olympic Peninsula.

Default CA Legacy Plates

I ordered the black and yellow California legacy plates for my Chalk GT4 (with PCCB and yellow stitching) about a month ago. Expect them in the next couple of weeks. I’ll post some pics after I mount them.

What a great pic and spec. Really making me second guess my Black & Gold car. Have another week before the build locks...

Great thread - I ended up ordering a chalk/(red) spyder interior/red top/platinum wheels Spyder to go along with my Agate Gray/Bordeaux Red 718 GTS 4.0 (both PDKs)

Well, here is my GTS. I may be the only customer willing to wait as long as possible for my Spyder - I'm waiting until 2022 to take delivery as we're building a house and I'm garage constrained at the moment!

Lovely spec! But is it really necessary to have both a GTS 4.0 and a Spyder?!?! I think we should be friends either way

Its all about building in some redundancy as we move into the electric age, with the last of the NA cars being produced. I did the same with the last of the really great plasma TVs, when they were phased out.

Well, I understand that I have a first world problem, but I had a mint, fully optioned low mileage 991.1S Cab - that my good friend wanted to buy. I sold it to him - and immediately missed a cabriolet (I live in Santa Cruz and Carmel, CA where you can drive a cab pretty much year round) - and, although I love the 911, it's just gotten too big for me. I've had a Cayman as a daily driver for a long time with a 911 as a "weekend" car - so, I jumped at the chance to get a hard top and a cab 718. And, fully recognize that these may be the last ICE cars that we may own....

I held on to my plasma until the forth generation of OLED, at that point the crown was passed forward to it!

Unfortunately no pictures for you, but I used to have chalk seatbelts in a chalk GT3. It definitely works, but I wouldn't say it felt very special or differentiated enough to option out again. Mostly looked like they could be 'standard seatbelts' to me. YMMV
