V260 is enter body shop not lock date. V250 is vehicle fixed or "lock date" which was originally March 27. V250 is now April 29.

I don't know what the revised V260 is because the screen shot that was sent was of another PSVMS screen not the usual one that shows every step. I don't want to bug again to send the full timeline screen shot, will ask for that one early May.

This. Assuming production starts on April 20 as planned I would expect a shift in timeline again. An improvement perhaps. Line of thinking is that by May more orders will be cancelled or once things start up a true picture of productivity will be available. Maybe I'm hopeful for early July instead of July 24 at this point. I know for my other two new Porsche's, dates improved from what was projected as the car made it through the gates and I even had few CXX items on the GT3.

April 20th is good news if it stands. Porsche hedges on their delivery dates, my experience has been that actual deliveries are typically earlier than scheduled.

For those of us with builds in the body shop or assembly line, it's nice to see that they wrapped up each individual car before they shut down: https://newsroom.porsche.com/en/2020...mer-20474.html

Good news! VW will resume production in Germany on Monday: https://europe.autonews.com/automake...rting-april-20

I would assume Porsche will as well. On a different Porsche topic, thought this was interesting: https://europe.autonews.com/automake...t-direct-rival

Unfortunately I don't have a subscription, but I can lift the text from the source. Looks like Osnabruck won't restart until the following week if this is to be believed:

FRANKFURT -- Volkswagen Group said factories producing cars for its VW brand in Zwickau, Germany, and Bratislava, Slovakia, will resume production on April 20.
Other factories in Germany as well as plants in Portugal, Spain, Russia and the U.S. will resume production starting April 27, VW said on Wednesday.
Factories in South Africa, Argentina, Brazil and Mexico will ramp up production in May, VW said.
"With the resolutions passed by the federal and state governments and the easing of measures in other European countries, the framework conditions have been created for gradually resuming production," VW brand Chief Operating Officer Ralf Brandstaetter, said in a news release
VW said it has prepared a 100-point plan to ensure safe workplaces and maximum health protection for employees.
"We are ramping up production and logistics in a staggered and well-ordered manner," VW production boss Andreas Tostmann said in the same release.
VW has been restarting production at its component plants since April 6, initially in Germany at its factories in Brunswick and Kassel, and from April 14 in Salzgitter, Chemnitz and Hanover, as well as at its Polish sites, initially to ensure the supply of vehicle production in China.

VW's plan to reopen plants comes as the German government considers relaxing restrictions next week on some businesses while keeping social distancing rules in place until May 3.
Chancellor Angela Merkel's cabinet has already decided to extend border controls to Austria, Switzerland, France, Luxembourg and Denmark by 20 days to early May, an Interior Ministry spokesman said.
The relaxation proposals include reopening schools gradually starting May 4 with priority given to primary and secondary pupils in their final years, while day care centers will remain shut. Religious gatherings will remain banned and restaurants, bars, cafes, cinemas and music venues will remain shut.
Germany's confirmed coronavirus cases have risen by 2,486 to 127,584, the Robert Koch Institute for infectious diseases said earlier, with a reported death toll of 3,254 people.
Infectious disease experts say that four weeks of keeping schools, factories and shops shut has brought progress but warn that the epidemic is not yet contained and there is a long way to go before normal life resumes in Europe's biggest economy.
Companies and politicians are also worried about the economic impact of a long shutdown, although the government has tried to cushion the blow with a range of measures, including a 750 billion-euro ($822.2 billion) stimulus package.

EDIT: Here is the VW release: https://www.volkswagen-newsroom.com/...roduction-5961

Seems to make sense, I don't think anyone thinks they are getting their cars until after July. The question is how much later...

SToronto made the point for those in the North East - any later than that and you are making plans of how you are going to store it, especially with Spyder as it shortens the the drop top season and makes you think you are better off waiting for the 2021 model with a Spring delivery.

Summer cars can be driven from April to October in Toronto if not longer. I know it is not ideal but not much we can do about the weather.

I don't think I have a choice to defer to 2021 model. I already signed and gave a deposit. I think the laws protect the dealerships more than the consumer in Toronto. I am not willing to lose my deposit for a deferred 2021 model....my sales guy wants to be paid, it is in the best interest for everyone to get their cars sooner.

The way I read the VW press release is that the plant in Osnabruck (one of the other factories in Germany) won't be opening until 4/27. According to many previous posts here that is where the Gt4s are being produced.....anybody see that differently? I would expect a press release from Porsche in the near future with more details but reading through the lines that is what I am seeing.....
