Check the Shark Blue thread but its too much blue in my opinion. Either do silver stitching or yellow with PCCB's.

FWIW my GT4 was Python Green with the body color interior trim. The car was CPO so I had to take the build that was there. I’m pretty sure I would have never ordered it that way. After living with it though I came to love it.

Just bought one in that spec. I think it looks really good. Totally subjective though.

thanks. Looks great! The seat inserts are not too bright, so I agree, it works just fine.

Not the same, but I built and have a 718 CGTS 4.0 in Shark Blue and Graphite Blue interior. I think it's a great combo. The interior color is very subtle.

Has anyone given up a PTS allocation and gotten it back? I was offered a PTS build slot, but initially chose to go w/shark blue, however, I've now changed my mind and want to do an Oslo Blue build. My SA told me that once the PTS slot is given up it has to be requested again from Porsche. Has anyone gone through this before? How likely is it I get a PTS slot again? TIA

Are the people in here downplaying the 4RS actually owners? 7000 miles here, took the car from SoCal to RR7, SoCal to Vegas, Streets of Willow and will be going to Chuckwalla next month, dozens of ACH runs, and dozens of C&C. It does everything and puts a grin on my face with every drive.

There are 'drivers' and there are the 'caretakers' that buy a car and rarely drive them...

@skafia Excellent that you are among the first group!

Hey! It was a pleasure hanging out at SoW. We have a private track event planned for Chuckwalla on 3/18. I think we are under 30 cars, let me know if you are interested!

Only 600 miles in, but I find the 4RS far more engaging at low speeds than my 2016 or 2021 GT4 cars that were both manuals. I drive in manual mode and the gearing, noise and shifts are very entertaining to me at least. Excited for break in to complete.

I’m personally wouldn’t keep my 4 RS if I could only have one sports car. If I could only keep one, it would be my 981 spyder hands down. I know it’s different than a GT4 due to suspension and drop-top, but I would have regretted selling it for an RS and would have strongly considered moving back. I wouldn’t go to a 718 though, I prefer the style and sound of the 981 Spyder/GT 4.

I bought the 4RS mostly for track use, but as a road car, I too slightly prefer the 4RS over the GT4 because the 4RS has more poised handling and I do sometimes push the car hard, plus I have a slight preference for PDK in manual mode over regular manual. But for most people, I suspect that the GT4 would be the better choice.

Interesting to hear that Shark and Ruby are on stop-order. My SA made no mention of this when I had him check the stop-order list in Porsche's system yesterday.

My order locks 6/7, still waffling on a few things but the spec so far is definitely in the minority: Gentian, no WP, silver wheels, PCCBs, extended deviated stitching, leather wheel/shifter.
