They were $8.5k, which is a bargain. They just went up to $11k

While I'm not looking down to put down Braille before you buy a braille battery make sure you do some research because Braille Batteries do not have a battery management system as part of their battery and that is absolutely necessary for any modern and most any car because these battery Protection Systems known as a BMS protect the lithium batteries from over discharge overcharge and includes many safety features that are absolutely necessary.

For the ones who already took delivery or broken in, has anyone installed the DSC module as replacement to the PASM? Does that make the same impact as the regular GT4 or is the "out of the box" suspension tuning of the 4RS already on the sweet spot? What about alignment?
Thanks!

Avgas 100LL is ~ 6 lbs per gallon, I am sure pump gas is very similar in weight.

That would be about 140 pounds of fuel...

Yep, and I can tell you, I don't feel any difference in my car from tank full compared to empty. Maybe there is some, but it is not enough for me to notice.

Where you feel weight savings much more is in unsprung weight reduction.

You are about 35 lbs too high. 718s don't get the extended size fuel tank option in the US that 992s can get.

Well...the Ol' butt dyno might not feel it but it does show on the track when you time a lap

OK.. a few thoughts about the GT4RS after taking delivery and bringing home.. keep in mind it's only been driven from Houston to home and a few non track drives since last weekend..

The care IS NOT UNCOMFORTABLE... now I am driving with 18 ways. and I never considered LWB uncomfortable once you were seated.. I was worried I would hop in and right away
notice the suspension/engine mount/cup tire changes causing a harsh ride and immediate buyers remorse.. feels pretty much just like my 15 GB GT3.. which I had no issues driving
just about everywhere.. confirmed immediately by my curious friend and SA at PNH.. who I wanted to make sure got to drive it also.. and the sales manager, Ace.. they and 2 others who
have driven and ridden in it immediately felt the same surprise.. I have a friend who commented about his 16 BMW GTS basically being unrideable around town.. not so with GT4RS..

The care is NOT loud.. however, there is a bit more cabin noise.. not from the induction system but just small Cayman cabin/decreased insulation with highway-loud slight drone from wind and tire noise..
haven't finished breaking in yet, but induction sound is awesome and first thing everyone notices even at low RPMs..

I have the FAL, but get around fine, as before with my prior GT3 snout without it...

It feels nice and compact.. it is dwarfed by my wife's 2016 BMW M340i sitting next to it in the garage.. definitely feels and drives small to prior 992 S and 15 GT3..

More thoughts after more driving.. trying to get it up to Porsche Palooza next week..

Congratulations! Look forward to hearing more about your driving impressions. A good friend is expecting his this month and I can't wait to get a ride.
