Could be the wheel uprights as these are CL contrary to 5 bolts on the previous models. The difference is not that great so it could also just be shims on the LCA......
Could be that the LCA inner is the larger one. I did also read elsewhere that the hubs do add some of that extra width also.
Another thing to remember is that the 4RS full front end tub is actually 991 C4S and therefore as 991 GT3. This section is stouter and was implemented to enable FAL support, but also may contribute to the width track width?

Do you have a link to Porsche information on this?

So, maybe I’m more charitable, but I read that as Spring towers are the same as per 982 GT4/Spyder… which are the same as 9x1 GT… and they specifically trying to call out there is NO change in this part. Also to be fair you hardly hear of this issue nowadays unless someone truly has hit something very very hard at speed. It also might be referring to the REAR tower reinforcement cups.. which are GT Cayster specific, and not on normal 981/718.

From the picture the front tower part looks the same and is made of Aluminium as per 9x1 generation. It’s just that the frunk wall is moved, making the frunk smaller to accommodate the FAL hydraulic pump behind. Frunk luggage capacity is same as 9x1 GT3.. and smaller than casual GT4.

So sounds like I won't need to install the stiffer Swift springs off my GT4 but will I be able to install of my monoball suspension items from my GT4 on the GT4RS?

It seems like most of it should be able to directly move over, but we won't know for sure until are the parts are published somewhere it can easily be interpreted or until someone starts modifying.

The caster pucks are not necessary as the ones on the 4RS are solid....I'm not sure about the inner LCAs but they could also be solid (hope so!).
The only thing I hold on to are the TPC toe links....

I'll just hold on to all of my monoball suspension pieces until I get my GT4RS and my shop puts it up on a lift.

Yep. The Arms are RS specific and Porsche says every joint is now solid/mono ball.. but for Caster… I’d don’t know if that means also position adjustable… also we don’t know which top mounts yet… regular GT or offset RS/Clubsport.

here is a slide on the GT4 carry over and 4RS specific chassis components…
