The colour options they are offering are a bit underwhelming to be honest. I'd probably go for the yellow.

Standard wheels are ugly, magnesium wheels are a must.

Here's another video review. This one gives a much better view of the engine "compartment" and the air intakes. Dang it looks gorgeous!

BTW, rear tires are confirmed to be 295/30-20 from this video at the 3:17 mark.

ol mate talks at 60 words per minute geez

he neglected to mention the CF front wings, blabbed on about no CF roof, clearly doesn’t realize it can’t happen. He also mentioned the tungsten brake option, I think he got that one wrong.

all a bit of a rush for the YouTubers to get their **** online first I spose.

but yeh, that engine cover is awesome.

yes, 245 fronts explains all the under steer in the ring hot lap, I can squeeze 255 on my gt4 which helps but this has a gt3 motor

From the newsroom video, AP mentions 408mm steel rotors. Can’t run 19” wheels anymore unless you drop down to old calipers/rotors or switch to AP racing, assuming it’s compatible.

They still have to do a bit of sand bagging to not upset GT3 owners...

Actually, I just noticed on the EU configurator that you can opt for a 90 LT fuel tank ...I will definitely want that!

Is the lift necessary in this car?

While the engine choice is great news for this platform, and enthusiasts in general, the fact that Porsche is doing this, also signals to me that the end of the ICE in imminent. More so than what I may have thought even a year ago. I do fear an upcoming time in which there will not be enough charging stations, and yet gas will be ridiculously expensive as well as production and supply diminish.

Weissach package with the mag wheels and PCCB is coming in at $415k Australian dollarydoos.

Here's what I would go for in my money no object build. A more reasonable one would probably drop PCCB and the Magnesium wheels and save the $45k.

They added a new option with the Full Buckets Seats called 3D-Printed Bodyform Full Bucket Driver's Seat with soft, medium, and hard options. What are these options and it isn’t cheap at $3900?

Gas isn’t going anywhere for a long time, pay no attention to the fear mongering media/politicians - they are known to be a bit disingenuous and overly sure of themselves.

I think this accelerated timeline of EV transition is going to need to be readdressed in a couple years, not only is it insane but it’s unrealistic - and being pushed by the private car and private jet crowd who knows nothing of the real logistical issues with this type of mandate.

Back to RS…

I wish the FAL option could be had on the GT4, that’s the one hurdle that kept me from trading in my Carrera T for one. And did they share any suspension details yet? Any carryover from the new GT3 cars?

I just heard that Porsche is going to make a Cayman with a bespoke GT3 motor!

Sorry if this is a repeat.
