Chris,

A German forum member is posting that PAG may try a run on NOS for a time on the GT4RS. Nothing appears to be official. Maybe just a test before a real try, maybe not. You know anything?

At the moment I am only offering a 4.3L; I have vacillated a lot over offering the 4.5L package for sale but I chose not to do so.

Can you expand upon why?

I’m not interested in a single new pic until someone gets a pic of whatever is behind the window vent.

I know what's behind them; for a year I've been asking to see the interior tho because I want to see the trim panel orientation.

Sorry...I think I unsubscribed from this thread because I had recurring trauma from the 718 GT4 thread and felt like I was Bill from Groundhog's Day stuck in Punxsutawney!

If John is keeping displacement at 4.3L he must have really good reasons....I do know that on 4.0 up to 4.3L he has tons of experience including enough track time.

Or someone else "trademarked" the 4.5 conversion ...?

It will most likely be the same thing I did with our intake to emulate the approach they used. I always figured the car was a mule for the window intakes because of how cannibalized the rear interior is to accommodate the intake. If that intake went directly to the car you would have zero trunk space. Now you have less cabin room and storage than a 911. I'm anxious to see the back of an RS tho because it's very Porsche to render the back useless for more performance so it makes sense that this intake that started as a need for our US based race cars is going to be used to jazz up the RS. This intake makes IATs = within 5F of ambient and it has added pressure. I've already shown how it pushed our 4.2L from 179 - 183 at Daytona by adding this intake AND the 92mm Hellcat throttle body.

if you want pics, here...

Huh!??!! If you could patent putting a larger displacement engine in an Cayman, it would be named after me...The Cayman Ginger!
