this appears to be unique to Porsche's ED scheme, I never had to do this with BMW...
This is so stupid. So if the 6mth/6000 mile limit gets broken for whatever reason and you pay the VAT, then you have a USA spec car that's "legally" sold (hence, taxed) in Europe? Are you then importing a used European car to the USA? Bureaucrats, you have to love them.

Anyone know of a dealer with an open allocations for a GT4 in the Western US? Northern CA to be precise, but I'm up for a road trip. Local dealers in the Bay Area are still being a little shifty.

I got Spyder offer @ MSRP from Stevens Creek (James) and Redwood City (Sam). This was last week. Not sure about GT4. Didn't hear from Livermore and Fremont but they were typically more flexible in the past.

and I got a Spyder allocation fromJames@SC a couple of weeks ago - I would *make very sure* that any allocation from Redwood City was at MSRP - like in writing sure...

Thanks for the tip.
Tony texted me earlier this morning that he sold the MY20 Chalk. Was available for about 10 days. There is/was a MY21 Gentian Blue incoming.

Cheers!

Curious where you got this date from? And was it specific to the Spyder/GT4? Only ask because I know the cut off for the 992 was earlier than the 982/718s. Heard several dates... starting November (Germany), December 4th. Not stating your info is wrong just curious.

So about 9/1 for your allocation maybe? Given that allocation date, when are they projecting delivery for you at your dealer. Thx in advance!
