Interesting to hear all the conjecture about 2023 models and what allocations will be out there in the future.

~120 days estimated build (of course this is early) and 40 days to lock changes.

I had given up on an allocation this year thinking I will have to wait until Feb. next year. Maybe there is still hope. (2022 GTS 4.0)

Congrats on the allocation and a nice build too! One option I had on my old Spyder that I probably never would have specced myself was the race-tex sun visors. My current Boxster S has the regular visors. I think they sound stupid but they made me really happy every time i touched them. Such higher build quality than the standard ones. Either way though you're in for a hell of a fun car!

Beautiful spec. Care to share how much ADM, if any?

None,

I have made significant changes to my configurator of course.

Added two-zone climate control, LED headlights, but struggling between white exterior and gaurds red.

I am currently ordering GR (as in avatar), but white with black wheels, and a Martini graphics package is a very alluring second choice which keeps me on edge (I lock Feb 1).

I was originally considering gentian with silver wheels and classic interior / red roof...classic Italian look...but chickened out. That dark blue changes a LOT based on light (at least in pics).

You know you really scored a unicorn, with a soon-locking spyder build with no ADM. Someone somewhere likes you.

I am in the market for a 2022 718 Cayman GTS. I have paid deposits at 2 dealerships, but I think I am about 12th in the allocation waiting list at each dealership. I don't think I have a prayer of getting an allocation from either dealership. Is there anything else I can do to try to get a GTS allocation? Thanks for your help.

If you do a quick search you'll find there are folks you can pay to track one down for you. It may take time (and $$$) right now though as allocations are GTS allocations are rare it seems. I've been #1 on my dealers list since the end of March.... but they've not seen any GTS allocations in over a year (they have had GT4 and Spyder, however).

Yeah....I don't think you would e disappointed. I was somewhat between the GTS and the Spyder when a Spyder allocation presented itself....that is all it took.

I would highly recommend Ben Peacock (ben@bpmotorcars.com), he found me an allocation for my Spyder very quickly.

A chunky ADM but c'est la vie!

FYI, if anyone's looking for a new GT4 and needs a lead, there's one coming in to Porsche Englewood in NJ. PTS in Irish Green. Was talking to my SA today and he said it's up for grabs (for now). Bought several cars with him and he's a proper enthusiast and good guy. Good luck!

Another dealer I wait listed at has an available GT4 allocation. 30k ADM.

PM me for contact info. I am not a broker and already got an allocation elsewhere 1.5 month ago.
