Hi all. New to Rennlist (as of today!). Last week I received V200 status on a Spyder (southeastern PA). Expected July build and September delivery.

I think so too. It's interesting that, in addition to the dealer where I placed the order, in the last week or so I've had two other dealers reach out to me with available allocations. One had a Spyder; the other had a GT4. I didn't have deposits at those dealers. I had just inquired about availability at some point in the last few months. I'm getting the sense that the "lists" for these cars aren't all that long.

I think a lot of people "on the list" backed out for different reasons... glad they did cause we get allocations!

there will be plenty of allocations and with the current market melt down , dealers will be lucky to sell these cars at MSRP

Couldn't agree more. Also, as is often the case, the same person is on multiple lists. So, when Porsche provides 10 allocations for XYZ region, the result is 50 names coming off the collective dealer lists in that region.

Does anyone else in NA have V250 or higher? Wondering how many weeks on average it's been taking for builds to go from V250 to V260.

If anyone is reading this thread and hunting for an allocation - call around! My 2nd local dealer reached out to me w an allocation - I am not sure if there is softness in the market or more allocations are coming in than expected, but they are def. out there to be had right now. High volume dealers seem to be getting a lot of them.

What a joke, tell them to take a look at the markets sliding into global recession and then rethink their position.

Smile Last Minute Allocation Change

I've been on the Spyder list for an allocation near two years now and finally got an e-mail back in January letting me know that number two had declined for a latter allocation which gave me the second one. My car was to be built in June with a July
31 delivery date. Fast forward to two weeks ago, I was ask to swap allocations with number one to which I promptly agreed. Problem was, the change/freeze date had pasted two days prior. My sales agent said that as long as the system didn't kick
out the changes, I was good to go. So, apprehensively, I have waited until today to request a copy of the order status sheet which confirms the build is to take place on 03/20, arrives Port Emden on 4/17, and enters Port Jacksport USA on 05/08, then
arrives at my dealership 05/15 which is the exact same dates as the number one customer was assigned. Our builds are quite different which is all the more impressive. It's beginning to get real.
