Really nice build, things I would have changed, but it is of-course a matter of taste:
- Natural Leather Interior in Espresso/Cognac: It is superb. I think it is one of the best options available for the 718.
- 18 ways: are a must in my opinion. The 2 ways just don't offer enough adjustment. Personally I am super OCD about driving position so it would drive me crazy not being able to return to my saved position (which is the case in my upcoming Spyder, not happy about it)
- Steering Column Casing in Leather: personally I think it is worth the price

Steering Column in leather is an absolute must, as well as Alcantara sun visors. Smaller less noticeable options that really put the icing on the cake.

very interesting call with my SA today. we talked about how some of the EV stuff is softening, my 4RS order, and available cars...which is when he mentioned there being an inbound 2023 Cayman GTS 4.0 available at sticker with no stipulations or ADM. I believe it's a manual transmission car too. if someone wants to see the spec, lmk
i kinda wished i had bought a 718 as a daily instead of a taycan lol but the EV stuff is nice too. still, there's nothing quite like a manual Porsche, especially one at MSRP!

Got a call from a Cali store with a CGTS4.0 allocation, July build, September 1st delivery. I can sell for 7.5k over MSRP total. I believe I have a line on a couple BGTS4.0 allocations as well.

Had a client have to back out, so I still have at least one of each BGTS and CGTS allocations available.

Spoke with a Cali dealer this morning who has a BGTS4.0 allocation at MSRP. They claim Porsche is getting more aggressive with asking dealers to sell without markups 👏
Anyone else hearing this?

Sorry if this is old news, but I just noted that any ability to add Deviated Stitching is gone from the (BGTS & CGTS) configurator. Porsche not showing a lot of love for the 2024 GTS variants; and makes me doubt PTS will ever open.

This may not be true. Local dealer just text me and asked was I still interested in a CGTS build for October delivery. I said absolutely. He then informed me in order to get the slot I had to agree to $5k over MSRP, 1 year additional pre-paid maintenance AND ceramic coating. I politely declined the $5k over sticker and ceramic coating BUT agreed to the pre-paid maintenance. He declined and said he'd reach out at a later date. I claim BS. Now I'm not all that upset and I know this is a business but what is particularly disconcerting and disingenuous is this was a dealer that INSISTED they would offer at MSRP and no shenanigans.. I guess I'm back to square one. I'm not paying multiple "tariffs."

This was officially announced late March that for MY24 there will be no more custom deviated stitching options for the 718 (aside from carmine red or chalk GTS package interior stitching)

I wish you luck in finding your GTS allocation at MSRP, but keep in mind there are many (including myself) that have been on waiting lists for 18-24+ months. Unless you've been on a list since Q1 last year or earlier, chances of getting a GTS allocation at MSRP before production concludes is slim to none at this stage in the game, sad to say.

Great question. I wanted to go Spyder, but i live near Houston and, in reality, the top would be up a lot. That's a deal breaker for the Spyder. BGTS 4.0 top much nicer and friendlier. In the end, I realized actual top down days would be no where as numerous as they were in my dreams.
