Re: Gold Chains...You Can Never Have Too Many!
There I am below. Lucky for me, I am now a Ferrari owner & the Tifosi truly revere everything about my looks
...the manly chest hair, the gold 'bling' and the fact that I obviously regularly enjoy good pasta!
I happen to know JSF101 well. Yes he owned two gt4s. Both 'Racing Yellow'. But I can assure he doesn't own
as many gold chains as I do! And I am a true Spyder man. And a Spider man too. But then I don't think Steve
is planning to buy a Ferrari anytime soon. So for me, as they say, when in Rome do as...(etc).

Advanced
I noticed the standard seat is now the base 2-way - previously it was the Sports Buckets (now $6,870). I got the 18 way couch and actually haggled some money from this downgrade towards other options.
I think reversing camera is now included (for 981 was an expensive option since it was camera only, no ultrasonics)
Mine has darker wheels, which dont seem to be an option anymore.
code = PLSDJE91
Damn it wont generate a price - but thats about $10k in options.
Did you go PCCB? Or the full sports seats?

I remember the first time a Honda minivan blew away my Ferrari 308GTB at a stoplight.
I got over it.
I got over it.

I look at these cars and think why am I even considering trading? I have a perfect, spotless 981. White w classic interior, highly optioned, gobs of red leather everywhere, PCCBs. There's really no reason.....,.
Until the first reviews with "first driving impressions" start to leak out......and the journalists begin to rave about how somehow Porsche has really nailed it with this one and the net result is so much greater than the sum of its parts......and it feels like so much more than a 40 hp bump.....I can anticipate the cliches already.

Both a $1.5mil 73 RS and a $50mil Ferrari GTO are also out-dragged by a $30k Mustang or a $50k BMW SUV. What’s your point? No one shopping for a backroads carver cares about stop-light to stop-light times. If the latter is all you care, then it makes no sense to overpay for things that others value more.

anyone know why gold wheels are not an option on the Spyder?

Gentian Blue with silver wheels just pops. Should have offered the gold ones too...

"Finally the bean counters at Porsche HQ have allowed the engineers to endow the mid-engine little brother with the grown up GT parts it's been begging for, and let us be the first to say it pays off in spades!"
