I think you're way less likely to see this as you are to see a Touring version (model slotted between GT4&Spyder / GTS).
The closest to the RS version would be the PDK version of the GT4&Spyder which is also pretty likely to appear later in 2020.

My cleaning lady tells me that this is very likely.

Porsche will announce a GT4 RS right after they sell enough GT4’s to satisfy demand. Then most of the GT4 owners that aren’t married to a 6-speed will trade their GT4’s in for the RS. They are very predictable and know how to maximize profits.

This will most likely be the case. I do wonder, however, if the base gt4 PDK lowers demand for the RS.

im guessing not, but we’ll see.

I just wonder how they will handle the body. The thing with the GT3RS and GT2RS is they have a turbo wide body to use versus the GT3 using the non-wide body.

So for such a limited niche car my gut says we will get aero , PDK, maybe some better suspension and thats it. But my mind dreams of a GT4RS widebody!

Do not expect to see a RS until 2021. There are bunch of other 718 variants to come in the meantime to keep everyone occupied.

That and there's been literally nothing spied on the 'ring to support even rumors of a GT4RS.
My bet is we just simply won't see one.

Wow, seriously thinking about shifting my deposit over to this now, even at the price of losing the third pedal.
