The GT3 RS doesn't come with PCCB, does it? I don't see that being an issue. I don't want them either.

Keeping a PDK S for the RS only and not in the normal GT4 would suck. I hope they both have the same PDK. I'm still on the fence about PDK GT4 vs PDK RS. Need to see what it brings to the table.

I'm no Porsche expert but I saw in another thread somewhere that the PDK-S in in the RS 911's. from what I remember better and faster gear changes, better software and harware... I'm sure someone will chime in with more precise details.

PDK-S is the PDK in all 991 GT cars (GT3, RS, 2RS) (and expected in the 992 GT cars)

much much faster shift times, reinforced gearbox to survive track work. Also different (lower) gearing for GT cars.

Night and day different between PDK-S and the regular PDK in all other Porsches, and one of the reasons I’ll never own another Porsche model that doesn’t include PDK-S

Panamera has the new 8 speed PDK.

Cayenne is torque converter.

Macan actually uses the Audi/VW DSG unit but it’s still branded as PDK. Unless this latest refresh changed that.

All current 718s use 7 speed PDK.

992 uses the 8 speed PDK like panamera. This is the only one I haven’t driven this yet so I can’t comment how it compares to the 7 speed in current cars.

I’ve driven everything listed above and you can definitely tell the difference between all their transmissions.

I had Panamera ST and hated the 8 speed. Tranny shifts are stupid and slow compared to my Macan GTS which is good The 718 PDK is also smart and awesome but I was not impressed with that 8 speed. Don't know if they improved that but the shifts were slow and rough. Don't know if the 2019-2020 models are much better or not.

The Cayenne is a torque converter tranny another modern slugmatic.

Not impressed but glad to hear it will cost under the GT3. The real question we want to know is that do we get a proper multilink rear suspension on the GT4RS?
