Hello everyone, thanks for continuing to follow my restoration, talked with Bill and the Jim Constas Ceramically Coated Sebring exhaust system will be in his hands tomorrow, he will install it and he is arranging covered truck to bring it up to North Dakota for me. The Stebro that I had originally gone with developed some exhaust leaks and had some alignment issues, after giving them over 100 days to correct the issue
, I have abandoned Stebro from a handcrafted Sebring by Jim Constas, it will look cleaner, not as bulky, it will be lighter and it is ceramically coated so none of that damn discoloration of the polished stainless. Besides it sounds amazing from what I have heard so far. So thanks for watching me cross the home stretch, it has been nearly 2 years since we started.
Thanks,
Shane

Just received my copy of Hemmings Sports and Exotic as well as 9 Magazine who both did an article on the car. That is 4 magazines so far, very excited, below are a couple of links for everyone if they want to see a couple of the articles I have in electronic format:

Well it finally happened, my Outlaw made it back to North Dakota and I have put a 1000 miles on it already. It is so nice to finally have it back home. Some new pictures at
www.btinet.net/~sharoncol/porsche356.htm
Also a new article from Aircooled Classics out there as well.
Thanks for following my restoration, we are finally complete and now I can focus on enjoying the car and being a caretaker in the years to come until I pass the car down to my children.
Thanks,
Shane Balkowitsch

Here is a lost photograph of Ferdinand and Ferry Porsche with my car in the spring of 1948. ![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
A buddy of mine who does photoshop editing for a living made my day by displacing K45-286 (No. 1) with my car in this very historic photograph, very cool and very fun, hope you enjoy.
Thanks,
Shane

I haven't been around here for a while.....
You know I love it. Makes me miss ours even more, and I miss it too much already.
It turned out GREAT! Be proud.
As for your friends Photoshop job..... WOW!

This is a picture of my car as it sat at the previous owners garage. He took the car apart 22 years ago and put all the pieces in cardboard boxes. His intentions were to restore it but it sat untouched for over 2 decades. I purchased the car unseen except for this photograph and had it cover hauled to Texas where Bill is presently doing the restoration. I have never seen my car with my own eyes, I have never sat in a 356 before, I feel very blessed to be able to take on this challenge and project. Only 1101 of these C Coupes were produced in 1965, it is the last year for the model, the end of very significant era for the Porsche brand. I truly enjoy sharing this experience with others.
Thanks,
Shane
